"Went there based on reputation to get my brakes looked at, told me I needed a few thousand dollars in parts and labor. They wanted over $300 just to do my front pads and rotors but recommended calipers too. Local competitors have a brake special for $125 for pads and rotors -with a lifetime warranty-. It would have cost me hundreds more in parts and labor at MC with a 30-maybe 90 day warranty if I'm lucky. Plus my back brakes needed to be serviced, they were just going to replace everything to be safe, but to be fair I probably would too, now I'm up to $1200 or more in labor and parts, A couple days later I took a family member over there to have their catalytic converter checked. Mc auto said that they looked at it previously and hooked it up to their code reader but they needed to recheck it to make sure what part they needed, so they charged them again to physically look at it, took (5 min). They didn't know we had it looked at by a local parts dealer and found out it was just a sensor. MC auto said they would have to replace the entire part which would have cost hundreds of dollars for the catalytic alone not including labor. Then they changed their story once we showed them the results from the parts dealer and said "you know what, your inspections still good for awhile and your check engine light isn't on, I wouldn't worry it right now because its a very expensive job". They were ready to charge my family member hundreds of dollars in parts and labor, close to a thousand $ over a simple sensor that wasn't even triggering a check engine light. Side note, I got all the parts I needed to do everything they recommended for my front and rear brakes for the price that they were going to charge me just to do my front pads and rotors. A penny saved is a penny earned."

"I have been going to MC Auto for over 15 years. They are a small family run business that runs a fair, honest shop. Their prices are in line with other local shops, their work is solid, and their customer service is pretty good for a small shop (don’t expect fancy accommodations while you wait and a customer service rep that will smooth talk you). They give it to you straight. Mike (owner/operator) is as honest as you get. They go out of their way to help you and if you think the price is too high, just ask, “Why?” Mike will be happy to break it down for you. I’m a building contractor and I want my equipment to run well and last long. MC Auto gives me quality and value."

"So I call to have my girlfriends tint taken off and a sensor fixed that another shop couldn't do for some reson,so we can get her car inspected. The woman told me to drop the car off tomorrow at 8 and we will give you a call probably mid morning and let ya know what needs to be done for the check engine light and we will get the tint off. She told me it was $82 for all 4 windows. I drop my car off the next day and told the guy that took my keys the same story and that was that. 1145am rolls around and no call. I figure ehhh stuff happens no big deal let me give them a call, I call no answer. I figure okay let me call later. 145 rolls around I call again. The guy answers and I ask him for an update his response is "there is no update we are ripping the tint off like you asked." I asked him about the check engine light and he said "well if you want me to look at that it'll be $82 for me to diagnose it and figure out what's going on" I told him that is what I thought was the plan from the beginning and not to mention no one said anything about the fee to look at ot however I dont care I need it fixed. He then went off said that's not how things work and told me to come pick up the car. As I am there he continues to argue with me for 20 min and then charged me $93 and only took off the tint on 2 windows. Worst customer service I have ever had. DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR HERE. he continued to tell me how he has been on business for 25 years and a bad review wont even bother him or his customers. Well here's your review. PLEASE GO SOMEWHERE ELSE FOR YOUR CAR TROUBLES!!!!!"
