My actual OB wasn't at the hospital that night and Dr. Akintoye was the one on call, and let me say I couldn't have imagined a Csection going so well but it did! Great bed side manner also!"

"My experience with Dr. Akintoye was an amazing one and I would highly recommend her to any expecting family. I found Dr. Akintoye while searching for a high-risk OB/GYN after my husband and I received an unexpected positive pregnancy test following multiple miscarriages. From my first appointment to my final postpartum follow-up, Dr. Akintoye was always kind and professional. She was very attentive, always followed up on my distresses, was proactive in my care and consistently provided updates and concerns relating to my pregnancy. I appreciated that Dr. A communicated with me continuously along the way whether my results were favorable or alarming. She was open and left room for me to verbalize my fears and no matter how farfetched my concerns were she was attentive, ruling out my ”crazy” and further investigating my legitimate issues. She walked throughout my entire pregnancy like a friend which was important considering the pandemic didn’t allow patients to bring a partner to appointments. Most of all she made me feel like a person worth the time and attention. She wasn’t overwhelmed or annoyed by my history, yet was empathetic to my experiences. Although she provided me no guarantees, her positivity and upbeat spirit lowered my anxieties and made my pregnancy a bit more manageable. I genuinely felt that Dr Atkintoye and her staff cared and was concerned for me and my (then) unborn child’s well-being and for that I am totally grateful."

"Dr. Akintoye was awesome from begin to end with my first pregnancy. After having a pretty terrible encounter with another provider, I was skeptical about the whole practice but decided to give it another try. Dr. Akintoye made me feel comfortable from the first visit and it continued throughout my pregnancy. She is very informative and always gave me choices without bias. She is relatable, understanding and most importantly caring. Unfortunately my birth plan didn’t go as expected and I had to have a c-section due to my baby being breech and even though I really wanted to experience natural labor, the c-section process went better than expected. My recovery went well and my scar is almost none existing. I would recommend Dr. Akintoye to anyone, she is great!"
