Reviews of Keith & Sean Service Station Inc.
"Decent clean repair neighborhood repair shop Highly knowledgeable mechanics would definitely bring my cr back there"
"They are conmen, scammers in human uniform. Don’t go there for inspection because they will try to find fault with your car to take money from you. CRIMINALS"
"Recently went back a year +after they did a water pump service. My vehicle was showing similar signs of water pump failure again. Took it in. They misdiagnosed the issue charged me for another repair that I obviously didn't need. Now on top of that I had to do the water pump over at a different shop. 2017 Ford Explorer. It wasn't the thermostat housing, it was the water pump!"
"I have been using them for a longtime, very good guys and will take care of your car. Highly recommended!"
"Keith and Sean service station greeted me well as I arrived to get an inspection for a car that i purchased from carmax from a different state. Although they greeted me well. They seemed unaware that I had an appointment. Nevertheless, they quickly put the car on the lift and began to inspect it. Upon inspection, they discovered that the car needed front and rear brakes and rotors. I called carmax and they were able to pay for the repair work. The car was left with Keith and Sean service station around 9:30am to do the work. I walked home because I did not live far. I received a call around 3:30 pm the same day stating the car was ready to be picked up. They stated they closed at 5pm. I was able to get to their service shop at 4:30. Upon leaving with the car, I noticed that there was a metal to metal sound in the rear and when I pressed the brakes it was a definite grinding noise. My home was less than a mile away so I decided to leave it in my driveway and take it back in the morning. I arrived at 8:30 in the morning. I told the mechanic, and owners about the noise. One owner assumed that the noise is related to the brake wear-in period without hearing the noise. Another mechanic listened closely and heard it coming from the rear while being outside of the car. He then got in the backseat and heard the noise even greater from the inside. He then gathered tools, jacked up the car and took off the rear driver's tire. The brake shim fell out of the caliper. It was clear that the brakes were installed incorrectly. The brake shim was grinding against the rotor. The second mechanic quickly worked to correct the issue. After the work was done, the mechanic test drove the car and said it was ok. The owner apologized for the mistake. I am not happy because my life was at serious risk. I am ok that the mechanic made a mistake because mistakes are bound to happen. I have serious issues with their practice. There should have been an initial test drive to confirm the work was upto standard. There is no valid reason in my opinion why the customer has to be the first to notice something after repair work."
