"This place has forced upon me when my mother contracted early-onset Alzheimer’s disease and her brother and my younger sister assumed control over her finances. It was deemed that I was not mentally stable enough to take responsibility for the payment of my own expenses nor to own a personal bank account, although I run a successful e-commerce business. I receive a small amount of money from my mother every week, which while is appreciated, is also unnecessary and I have told both parties to please stop these payments. Because of past circumstances, I am not able to communicate directly with either my sister nor my uncle and this message has apparently not been received. I was assigned a “counselor” who apparently does double duty as the officer manager as well. Upon meeting with said “counselor”, I was presented with paperwork that outlined their process (although I was told it would be specifically tailored to my situation.) My bank account was removed from me and I was given a new card. I was then informed that I would have to turn in receipts documenting my purchases and that the card could not be used online. My entire business consists of online transactions. The counselor further informed me that she would be available for merely one day a week for any of my questions or concerns. To make matters more humiliating at this time I was a 43year old woman living in my own home! However, due to pressure from my family I agreed and acquiesced to these demands turning everything over to PFS for bill payment. Over the last few years the only things they’ve done right are paying the bills, and for my pets food. I can’t even reach them when I need to pay for a doctor that I’ve seen for 15 years, who doesn’t take any insurance. They have so far managed to get out of paying for my insurance bill, since I applied for and found that I was on the HIP plan by myself, something which they had apparently promised my uncle and sister that they were going to help me do, and never did. As neither my uncle nor my sister reside in this state, my sister has never met said “counselor” and my uncle has always been duly impressed by the the acting ability of this person on his infrequent visits to consult with her. Just STAY AWAY! There’s a reason for this 2 star review and a purpose behind the 2.5 star rating. My uncle should not have to pay for one person to do a half of a job that the rest of us are already doing."
