Reviews of Butcher Bar BBQ
"Ordered for delivery on Saturday night. The restaurant forgot to pack an item. When the delivery platform Uber Eats refused to give me a price adjustment, I called the restaurant for help. The manager did not apologize for the missing order. Rather she said “oh, my guy just forgot to pack it”. Then she said they can’t make price adjustments on their end and there’s nothing more they can do. Oh. Their meats (burnt ends, ribs, and pulled pork) were completely dry. 2 star for food. 1 star for customer service."
"Delicious food. Excellent BBQ flavors. Except one meat, I wouldn’t order ribs again. It is too small and not tasty as the other meet. Good cold beers and lovely servers."
"Went for brunch. I had the burnt ends and scrambled eggs with a side of french toast and cornbread. The burnt ends were very good. Tender, seasoned well and not overpowered by smoke. Definitely best burnt ends I have in new york and best since I was in Texas. Didnt need extra bbq sauce but pairing it with the table habenero n sweet/spicy sauce worked well. Eggs were soft and not overdone. The french toast was good. Love when challah bread is used. Gives the toast extra body. The cornbread was surprisingly good for not being what I expected. Soft, chewy, sweet, but not too sweet, and the hint soft corn was welcoming. The butter it came with really paired well."
"The staff is friendly, and attentive. The menu prices, are very reasonable. It wasn't crowded, and I got my food kinda fast. The Meat Candy Burnt Ends are a popular choice for appetizer. It definitely tasted better with the sauce. I was suprised at how good the creamy Mac & Cheese were. It was on point. The Smoked BBQ sandwich was very good as well."
"Very friendly service. The food was good, but nothing stood out. The fall off the bone ribs weren't actually that tender. The mac & cheese was creamy, as advertised, but lacked the tang of cheese. The bread pudding was sugary, but the flavor was bland."
