Mutt Motel

"In January I traveled from Wilmington to Wilkesboro for three days event. A family member knowing the owner of Mutt Motel gave me the idea to board my dogs there. I thought the idea is wonderful to have them closer instead in Wilmington and I did so. My dogs were treated great and the price was fantastic. Julio is an amazing business owner and his staff too. I recommend Mutt Motel to other dog owners here in Wilmington. I am sorry for the delayed review."

"I currently use Mutt Motel for boarding my dog, and have had great customer service every time. I really appreciate they have some weekend hours for pick-up/drop-off, this makes planning so much easier, as well as my dog isn't sitting and waiting extra days because some places are closed on the weekends. The last place I was boarding stopped suddenly without much notice, which left me trying to find a new place for my "Mal". The first place I called in spring lake, was "too full" and didn't seem to care. Mutt Motel was the next place, I made reservations online, and received a confirmation email soon after. I called and spoke with Julio the owner to verify my reservation's and just make sure there wasn't any other vet info they would need before showing up to drop off my dog. Every time has been a great experience easy drop off/ pick up, my boy is always happy and looks great when I pick him up. Julio and Staff, thank you for taking such good care of my boy!"

"I have boarded my dogs at the mutt motel several times and have been very happy with the service they provide! They are very well versed with many different breeds. It can be hard for me to find a boarding facility willing to take on my GSD’s yet they gladly accept them every time! I have also used the mutt motel’s board and train service that they offer, on two different occasions, and was extremely happy with the results!"

"My pups seem to really like staying at Mutt Motel. I even catch my older one with his tongue hanging out with a smile, the trademark of a happy dog. I have only one complaint. I must be severely allergic to their dog shampoo. This is the 2nd time I asked for the shampoo and I have a sneaking feeling they are just rinsing the dogs off and not brushing them. Each time I wound up with way more hair in the car than normal and they smelled a little off, not quite clean. I'll continue to bring them to visit and even plan on signing them up for lessons. But bath time will have to remain in my hands exclusively."
