"We had been a loyal customer for our two dogs and one cat since about 2018. Today was the last straw. This place has SEVERELY gone downhill over the past two years. Here are some issues we've had: 1. "All day play" is by no means all day. They only get a morning and afternoon session. We began to closely watch the cameras in our dogs' luxury suite to see how long they actually got to be outside - and it was common for them to only be outside for 30 minutes on perfectly sunshiney days! We complained and got a partial refund for the playtime. I highly suggest you keep an eye out on the cameras to see if your dog is getting the exercise you've paid for. 2. Several issues with their reservation systems. I always book weeks in advance (except for the unexpected, of course). I can't tell you how many times I've been told "we don't have a reservation for your pet on file." Same thing with vaccination records.. it's like they just lose them. 3. One of our dogs likes to tip bowls - which is irritating, I know. Our dogs always share a luxury suite. So it was common for both of them to get wet and have no water all night long. Not their fault... but, we would bring a square bowl from home that our dog cannot tip. Never saw it on their room's camera feed. They are also bad at keeping track of what you bring.. toys, for example, we'd never see on camera, then the staff would have to look for them when we'd pick everyone up. 4. Our cat had a reservation I made a month ago to check in tomorrow (Feb 9 2024). They texted us this morning (Feb 8) to say that he was not welcome back.. as he had bitten someone during his last stay.. back in April 2023. This is the first we had ever heard of it (I'm even a pet mom that calls to check in about every other day). Our cat also has no bite history... so it was completely out of left field. While I understand something could have happened, I don't understand why we weren't told in April 2023.. why we weren't told when booking.. and then told less than 24 hours before check in. After all these instances, plus many more smaller ones not listed, we no longer feel comfortable that our fur babies get appropriate care. Please book with caution, and keep a close eye that you are getting what you pay for. Also note the significant difference in ratings on Google vs Yelp... Yelp reviews are more reliable, as the owner cannot delete them. Do with that what you will."
"Great place to board your dog for short or long stays. We also use their daycare and grooming services occasionally, which are also great and well priced. The Cary location is extremely clean and has lots of room for the dogs to play inside or outside. Their boarding suites are clean and roomy, and some even have live feeds, so you can check in on your pup while you are away. Their staff is very friendly, knowledgeable, and provides daily feedback with pictures each day of your dog's stay. When your pet is there, they are matched to other dogs of similar size and temperament during group play, ensuring that they have the best time. They have additional add-on items like extra potty breaks, treats, one on one play, nighttime cuddling, etc., which are all priced within reason. I highly recommend you give them a try !"
"They take such great care of my dogs. The prices are reasonable and the dogs are loved, entertained and treated so well. We've done daycare, but typically do boarding and grooming. Wonderful staff!"
"BEWARE: Dropped of my dog at 8:15am Friday Nov 10, 2023 for a haircut and called at 1pm and 3pm for update. They finally called me at 4:22pm and said I can pick up my dog. Why would anyone want their dog in a crate for over 7hrs just to get a haircut? That is cruel! Let my dog play with other dogs until he is needed for a haircut. While daycare and overnight is good, grooming program is stupid. Plan to find a new groomer for Murphy. Does the pic look good to you? Dog is sensitive to touch."
"Extremely clean facility with lots of space and exceptionally polite and caring staff! They are more than happy to take any special needs into consideration and send a daily "report card" with photos of your pet enjoying their stay. These made my day! Additionally, they are extremely flexible on pickup and drop off times. I have struggled to find boarding facilities that don't require neutering by 6 months of age, as I have a young German shepherd who will not be neutered until he is 2 years old as is recommended by the most recent veterinary literature for his breed. I am extremely happy to have found a place that accepts intact dogs and that my pup absolutely loves!"
