"I can't believe I haven't reviewed Lola's favorite place! Our dog has been a regular for almost 2 years now on most weekdays. On the weekend when she doesn't go we get a lot of dramatic sighing and side eye from her. Pretty sure her camp counselors are actually her favorite people. We have never had anything but positive experiences with all the staff members and Lola is treated incredibly well by everyone. We have so much appreciation for all of the staff and their kindness and love they show our baby. They've always been attentive if Lola has days where her behavior is off and they notify us immediately. We trust them implicitly and are grateful to have a safe place where she can be happy and have fun while we are at work."

"Our dog sings her hound sounds the entire ride to camp. She knows her camp bag. She comes home absolutely satisfied and spends the rest of the evening napping. We send her to camp when we need to go out of town, and we couldnt ask for a better boarding facility."

"TL;DR dogs can be “dismissed” for being a dog. My dog was kicked out of Camp Bow Wow during her boarding stay, because she attempted twice to hop the play yard fences. Apparently this behavior is worthy of dismissal so she’s not allowed back to the Concord franchise. It’s unfortunate that the blame is on the animal instead of the counselors for failure to watch suspicious behaviors and tackle them before they arise. I’m perturbed that my dog was able to make two attempts before being removed from the play yard, instead of removed immediately when she was seeking alone time. Dogs are curious beings, while humans should be held to a much higher standard than a dog, especially as all the counselors are trained on dog behaviors. We purchased a 5 day pass from a Camp Bow Wow in CO, and they had nothing but good things to say about my dog. I find it hard to believe that trying to hop fences is considered dismissible behavior considering the motto “where a dog can be a dog.” They told me it poses safety concerns for her, counselors, other dogs, etc. But I think it holds safety concerns that the ratio for counselor to dog is 1:10, where the counselor duties also includes picking up and cleaning up after dogs, where they are not actively watching the play yard. I might change my review if this location can provide to me what constitutes dismissal behavior. It put a damper on my weekend because I could no longer see my dog playing in the yard and she was kept in a crate all day, except for potty breaks, which she immediately had to relieve herself when I picked her up. Dog jail?"

"Jax has been going to Bow Wow for 6 years now and he loves it! When I ask my dogs if they want to go to Bow Wow, they start barking and run to the front door! I know that they are always well cared for at Bow Wow!"
