"The worst! The reps come in our building all the time. We tell them we are not interested due to the fact that we had two reps come in together a few years ago (under Liberty National) and try to give us some free insurance policies for the employees. We almost did it but when they showed up the next day to get a list of our employees personal information, we declined! That wasn't discussed beforehand. I try to be nice each time a different rep walks through our doors but I am really getting frustrated. Not sure who I can call about taking our address off of their list as they are just reps walking in off the streets trying to drum up business. We have purchased a NO SOLICITING sign for this very reason. Had one guy walk in today and completely ignored it. On another incident.... my husband's employer tried them out. I told him our experience but he tried them anyway. He cancelled two plans he had with Colonial Life b/c the lady with Globe Life insisted theirs was better. I specifically asked her if it paid towards a wellness visit and she said yes. That was not correct. We lost out on $150 pay out b/c the Colonial Life plan would have paid for it but Globe Life did not. Gee! Imagine that. My husband cancelled all of his plans at renewal. Do your research before dealing with GL."

"Worked for this division. The initial “interview” was deceiving. Was told that I would have 100 leads a week which is complete nonsense. Also was told there was no cold calling. You get 100 leads to call and they are all cold calls. Also was told that it was an interview when really it was a recruiting session. Invested my money to start by driving all over the place only to find that the majority of businesses already had insurance in place. This business model reminds me a lot of Amway with each manager in your line getting a piece of your sales. Found the entire operation from the interviews to the operations to be unethical. It reminded me of my recruiting days in the Army, which isn’t a good thing. Use caution if you’re going to work for this company. Make sure that the area you’re in isn’t already saturated with prior agents. This was yet another big problem. Do your research and make sure there is a propensity to sell where you will be assigned. You will save yourself many headaches and quite a bit of gas money and depreciation on your vehicle from the 100s of miles a week you will be driving. This market is extremely saturated so be ready to hear no frequently if not all of the time depending on your assigned area. Watch out for other agents poaching your area too."
