Chrusciki Bakery 4475 Transit Road, Buffalo, NY 14221

"My 8 yr old daughter and I stopped in the other day. It was a really fancy/pretty atmosphere but the bakery was more on the right side... I stopped in for the Oreo macarons and it looked like they were available online to order. I also had called around 3:30/4pm and for some reason there was no answer. So I drove up 35 minutes from the Southtowns and didn't get any oreo macaroons unfortunately but we did try 2 of the loganberry ones and they were okay. Was really disappointed with the orange chocolate cupcake I got though- it had EXTREMELY stale spongecandy on the top, maybe it's because it was cut open but I was not happy. My daughter ate half of her Berry/ Loganberry cupcake. Was a bit let down to be honest. Would definitely stop back and try the bar inside though."

"We got polish cheesecake, a lemon bar, raspberry white chocolate cake slice, brownie, cookie dough brownie, pastry heart, apple crumb bar, and vanilla buttercream cupcake, and carrot cake. There was nothing bad out of everything we got, the cupcake was a little dry, and I suspect that anything that had a fruit filling was from a can and not from scratch. The pastry hearts are incredible, (after you microwave them for 10 to 15 seconds) they get warm and soft and the icing is delicious, the pastry part is so flaky and amazing... Pastry hearts are definitely five stars! Cake slice was fresh and moist. Carrot cake was mediocre, the cream cheese frosting wasn't extremely flavorful kind of like sweetened butter frosting with a hint of cream cheese flavor. The Cake part was moist and soft. The mini pies were mediocre. The pecan pie was very dry. Crust was not great on any. I have pretty high standards when it comes to bakeries so comparing this place to a bakery like frost artisan or butter block, I can only give it three stars because not everything is from scratch and they use pre-packaged fillings."

"50th Birthday Cake. Called them to complain and ask for a discount. They said if I brought it back they would fix it but other than that they wouldn’t do anything for me. How could I bring it back, it was for a party that was in progress. Super poor customer service. I’ve decorated cakes since I was in high school and this is exactly what happens when you don’t level the cakes or add any sort of supports to the cake. Shame on them! I ordered this cake because I had seen them in photos and thought they looked fabulous. Extremely disappointed and would suggest you all reconsider using this bakery."

"I've rated a lot of bakeries, but this Chrusciki is the best. There's always a huge variety of food, something for everyone. Each time you go, you find something new and want to get it. All the food there is at the best quality, they are very big too. I've never seen a bigger pastry heart in my life. The staff is very nice too."
