I sent my wife this morning to do the same thing. They told her they only do it between a certain time and couldn't do anything. Very rude. Very unprofessional. Won't use H&R again because of that."

"Because I made an appt with the person I've gone to for the last four yrs and she took a client only minutes before she was supposed to assist me. There was, fortunately, someone available to assist me who gave me good service but by then I was pretty frustrated for having to wait 25 minutes only to learn that, no, my tax preparer was still not available - once I asked. The person who took me in apologized for the mistake and its never happened before, but it was still annoying."
