"We stopped here because we got stuck in a snow squall and this was the closest place to take a break. The staff was so friendly and took such great care of us. The hot soup was exactly what we needed. We were debating getting our sandwich to go as there was a break in the weather and before we finished discussing it the sandwich was delivered, wrapped for the road, in case we were trying to hurry out. Just a very kind, thoughtful staff, a warm cup of soup and a friendly place to take a break from driving."
"Delicious food. Very friendly waitresses. Portions were big and prices were just right. We stopped on Sunday and again Wednesday (to and from our honeymoon destination). We were not disappointed."
"Upon arrival Parking lot is ample and free of litter. Dining area clean and well stocked. As are the bathrooms. Staff is truly friendly and accommodating. Service was great. Variety of dishes amazing. My simple meal of chicken tenders and fries was the perfect temperature. Based on the light color of these fried favorites, it is clear to me the fryer oil is changed regularly. The diner has an interesting history that is shared with us on the placemats. Love the charm provided by pictures on the wall. Don't miss plaster art above head near register. I love small businesses. So glad they had an advertisement on the blue travel signs along I-88 or we have missed out on an incredible eatery. Less than a mile off the interstate. Worth eating and relaxing for a while."
"We stopped by for lunch on the way to Cooperstown. It is a quaint diner. The food was typical diner fare. Highly recommend the soup specials- clam chowder was excellent, as was the bean and ham. Th e bathrooms are a little difficult to get to as you have to go down some steep steps. We were happy with our lunch and left with full bellies."
"Quaint little diner. The staff was very kind and the place was homey. My burger was so juicy and done perfectly as were the mushrooms. I wish my onion rings were thicker onions but they were cooked well. If I'm ever in the area, I will definitely stop by again."
