"The staff were so friendly! The theater was also very clean. We will be sure to come back again."
"Eat before you arrive. $5 movie and it will cost you no less than $11-12 to get a popcorn and drink. Nice facility, good value if you don’t want all of the concessions."
"Staff is friendly. Just not super attentive. When we got there nobody was at the counter. About a minute passed before someone meandered over to us and helped. The theatre is a bit run down- it’s $5 though so I’m not complaining much. I’d like to see better staff and more smiles. They are probably underpaid. But- raise your prices by a hair and get better people- more will come. Probably good how it is. Love the experience, always wishing it was a touch deeper bass."
"$5 All seats! All shows! Forge Cinemas opened over a decade ago (Oct 2010). They now have all show tickets priced at $5 apiece. Super affordable for anyone to enjoy a movie. They have 5 auditoriums (seating ranging from ~100 to 240). They have a box office window accessible from outside of the building, but when we were there it was not in use (maybe due to low business volume). There was no sign stating the movie tickets can be purchased at the concession counter. We guessed this was probably the way they were doing it now and confirmed it while purchasing food items. It would be nice if they put up a sign by the box office window to indicate movie tickets can be purchased at the concession counter. The current price for popcorn ranges from $6.25 for a small one to $7.75 for a large one. And fountain drinks go from $5.50 for a regular to $6 for a large one. Both with unlimited refills. Bottled water from $4.50, Icee from $6, and candy from $4.75. They also have a Free Candy Combo, when you buy a large soda and a large popcorn, you can get a free candy of your choice (from a list of selections). We knew how little a movie theater makes from ticket sales, so we supported them by purchasing some food items, especially since they allowed us to spend this small amount of money to enjoy the latest and hottest new movie. There was only one employee working behind the concession counter. We were glad the wait line wasn’t long, otherwise with just one person handling the register and also preparing drinks and food, it could have been a while before we were served. The movie started promptly. All went well with the show. But when the credits rolled, they didn’t turn on the lights. That made us wonder if there was a post-credit bonus scene - there wasn’t one for the show we watched. Lights really should have been on by then especially since the employee had begun to clean up the auditorium. We felt the employee skipped the part to turn the lights on. Hopefully this will be improved. All in all, it’s nice to see in this day and age, there is still a movie theater offering $5 a pop especially in this tourist-filled touristy town. Hope they continue to do well in business and we look forward to returning to Forge Cinemas to watch other shows in the future!"
