"Tried to purchase a 12-pack of light beer here tonight. Without needing to be asked, I handed over my valid NYS driver's license showing that I'm 27. The associate behind the counter looks me up-and-down, hems and haws, and then claims the person on the ID isn't me. I asked him if he was serious, as I'd never had a problem at this or any other Stewart's or vendor locally, and his response was, "I'm serious about protecting my job." Never bothered trying to scan it. I could have substantiated my identity with 5-6 other documents in my wallet (including a NYS employee ID badge with the exact same picture), but I wasn't given that option. And honestly, I wouldn't have entertained it. Not going to beg for a 12-pack of Labatt. An older employee, who I presume was the manager, stood by silently in approval as I walked out. I drove down the street to the Stewart's on Rt-9 where my ID was scanned and I had no problems. I moved into the area just down the street a couple of months ago and have spent several hundred dollars in gas and other items here, but I promise, not a dime more. I'll try to avoid the one on Rt-9 too. Plenty of other local places for gas, sundries, or yes, even beer after work.."

"Worst Stewarts I have ever been to. Customer service does not exist. Never any coffee in pots or containers. 5 out 7 pots were empty. Never going back. Avoid this place"

"The manager is the best of the best. He is a staple and has really made this place greater than I ever thought it could be. Another dude who works a lot during the day is cool too. The girl at night who loves wrestling is pretty darn cool too. I do miss John but I heard he is still with the company, so that's awesome! Keep up the great stuff!!"

"This Stewart’s is sooooo bad. About half the members of the staff I’ve encountered are unfriendly and/or incompetent. I order something a specific way and they do the complete opposite. How hard is it to make a milkshake or a sandwich? It’s not. I‘ve worked at Stewart’s. This store sucks! Stay away."

"2/20/2020. 7:45 am. Worst experience ever at a Stewarts shop. One line excessively long. One counter worker. Second came out and behind hand selecting who she’d help next while I was standing directly in front of her The old women counter staff told me I’d have to wait and began engage me in confrontational way refusing to ring up my purchase. After more then 40 years Using stewarts I can say this is my last time patronizing the locally owned store. I’ll stick to speedway or another store from now on. Poor customer service. Poorly managed. Poor attitudes."
