"I’ve reached out a few times about my gross kitchen mate. They have roaches and massive amounts of bugs. I’ve complained and asked to get out of the lease early because it’s GROSS but I can’t leave early and the best they can do is spray the kitchen with chemicals… again. Chemicals won’t work if they is nasty dirty dishes from the shared kitchen that aren’t cleaned."
"I def respect others experiences, but my experience was actually good. I moved in worried about the quality of people, but I only met one crazy person. In all fairness the first day I moved in, a neighbor warned me to keep to myself, but I’m friends with two sane neighbors, and the residents that I come across daily are kind. I had three dramatic moments in the course of a year. An apartment fire, which wasn’t the resident’s fault, and fires do happen, campus edge didn’t invent them. A couple arguing loud enough where so many neighbors came out for the drama, which was funny seeing how many of us came out of entertainment, not fear. And the last, a very loud man with a broken heart, we’re human. I’ve seen roaches in a 1st floor neighbor’s apartment, but I’m on the third floor and never had any (thank god). I never experienced bed bugs, yet for the price, it was an excellent buy. My cold water bathroom sink knob stopped working within a week, but I just used it before it got hot. The blinds do suck. The tracks on my closet doors weren’t sturdy, clearly cheap, and now just aren’t on tracks. As for the office ladies, I like them. Having a job that deals with people is exhausting, I can only imagine adding the situation of housing… for low incomes. I think they are strong, and at their core, seem like good people. I don’t know their lives, but I imagine they’re doing the best with what they got. Some people have better/worse experiences than others. I got lucky enough that my kitchen-mate NEVER used it. Would I do it again or renew? Only if kept my same apt and same kitchen-mate. So, I gave five stars because my experiences for what I expected were great. Just people trying to live in an expensive world. Would I recommend? Yeah I guess, I didn’t experience an awful year."
"This place needs to be shut down effective immediately. The office staff are worse than the tenants that occupy. The worst place to live in Wilmington. Roaches galore no matter how clean you are. Then it’s a possibility you may be the lucky one to get a unit that has bedbugs. The won’t even power wash the side walks and buildings to make it look like a decent place. This place could be way better cared for smh"
"You must meet the staff and talk to the residents to get past the bad reputation. Most people that give this place a bad rap were kicked out for non payment. I enjoy the locale and what not."
"The best part about living here is the cost. Everything else is an issue. I have never lived with roaches. I moved here and the office staff told me how nice my apartment was going to be. I asked them to call me for a renovated apartment and they called me in for an older apartment infested with roaches. I've had roaches crawl in my bed. I've had them fall on me in the shower. I've had them in my clothes in the closet. They crawl around in my microwave. Floating around in my kittens water. In my drawers, shoes and DRINKING GLASS! They even been on my tissue as I'm using the bathroom and about to wipe! AND I CLEAN EVERYDAY! I'm embarrassed for company to come over because I don't want roaches to crawl on them. I can not take it anymore! I've complained too many times and still no positive results! They sent a terminator twice. Still roaches! I've bombed myself. Still roaches! The staff will and has not try to solve the issue. I've also requested for maintenance to come to my apartment and check my air conditioning for mold and fix my closet door. It's been over a month and no one has come to do ANYTHING! Plus Brenda (Spanish lady in the office) does not care about getting things resolved. She loves to cut you off when you're talking and she is not interested in listening to any complaints. The picture is after two exterminator and me bombing, these are the roaches I killed throughout the night, last night . I need some advise on what I should do."
