"I called Sweep Away in order to set up a move out cleaning for an elderly relative. Karina was a lifesaver! "Three stars (average) seems to be the most appropriate description for the overall quality of service provided. We've used Sweep Away for close to a year for a monthly clean. It was frequently a different person coming each time. The price of the cleaning was about $20 lower than other companies which is obviously attractive and part of the reason we stayed with them for so long. Some of the ladies did a very good job with one in particular being outstanding. However, there were multiple instances of either unclear communication or things being missed. As examples, we had two bedrooms not cleaned because the doors were shut. It even happened after I spoke with management who clarified they are supposed to just knock before entering. We've had ceiling fans and window sills not dusted multiple times. Once I asked in advance for the upstairs to also be cleaned since we usually only do the downstairs but the cleaner claimed she had not been informed. Another time it was well past the arrival time but only after I reached out was I told they were running behind and it would need to be moved to the following day. Lastly, the lady who came today did a very poor job with my kitchen and spotty vacuuming. Management offered a discount for a future cleaning, but we've decided the savings are not worth the inconsistencies so we have ended our recurring clean. I'm writing this review because I chose this company initially based on its 4.9 rating, but in my opinion, the current quality warrants a lower rating. The company has good pricing and flexibility with scheduling but the quality and consistency of the cleaning - which is the most important element - has been an issue."
