"My apartment complex used them after we moved out to clean our bedroom carpet. According to a written letter from Kenny, our carpets had "heavy black stains". The carpet had no stains when we moved out and we made a point to never wear shoes on the carpet or rugs - we don't wear shoes at home. Kenny also suggested replacing the pads which were only 2 years old. Considering we had 3 dressers/chests, 3 wire-frame shelves (storage since we couldn't use our moldy closet), and a queen sized bed in the apartment bedroom, there was limited space to even walk around to get to the bed. Either A Step Ahead left "heavy black stains" from their cleaning or they're not a trustworthy company. Disappointed either way."
