"Friendly and accommodating. 2 TVs and they're happy to put on whatever game or race you want to watch. Impressive beer selection. They're rennovating the kitchen. so there's currently no food. Bottles and cans only for now, probably related to the kitchen, but said they'd have taps running again soon."
"HAD THE BEST TIME EVER HERE... I never hang out in the Bronx, but my brother Mario decided to have our mom's memorial get-together here in City Island after she passed away. I have to say that from the owner Michael to the bar-maid to all the regular people that filtered into the bar after our private get-together merged into a regular Sunday night at the bar, that I had the best time ever. The food was so tasty, the drinks were great and the energy was really friendly. I started wondering if I was in Utah or Iowa. This didn't seem like New York. The people were so kind, open and engaging. Man Overboard bar/restaurant is on top of my list of places to visit when I go to City Island again. Thank you Michael (owner). You are a gracious, kind and generous host."

"This a great place where the owner Mike and the rest of the staff are great. Each of the bar tenders are friendly, knowledgeable and beautiful. Mike could be also but I have never had enough drinks to think so. Kidding aside they all make sure that your time there is as much fun as possible."
"This bar is a good place to spend an afternoon. Came in to celebrate my cousins birthday and 1 drink turn in to 4. The bartender (Monica) was very helpful and friendly I felt like we all knew each other longer than just a couple of hours. Will definitely be coming back."
