"All 3 lanes that we shot on broke down and would not retract the target, the attendent was nice but he said there was a policy of only allowing rifles at the first four lanes. This has never been the case in the 10+ years I have shot there. This place needs some major renovations, two lanes have been completely broken/nonfunctional since I was a kid."

"Very small. The day I went they chose to open 2 hours later than their posted hours. The woman running the range, Kelly, was not very personable at all, borderline rude to be honest. This is the kinda stuff you deal with in small towns where they are the only game in town."

"Their open schedule was a little shaky when I first went their in 2020, but wasn't everything? I purchased a Sig 365 XL & a Holosun green dot from Michael. He gave a little cash discount, so I got an extra 15 round mag & a holster for a better price than the big online box stores. Kelly is usually over on the range side when I go...she is freindly and gets onto people breaking the rules without being a jerk. She hadn't had to yell at me....yet. They did go up on they prices at the range, but you can't hold that against them. Ammo prices are comparable to Duhams, so if you need an extra box it won't kill you. They have had issues keeping employees but have been more consistent with be open during normal hours. I am glad I don't have to leave the county to shoot. Let's keep them in business!"

"Went here with my wife and 17yr old niece (new shooter) on 7/14/23 during our vacation in Asheville. RSO was great, and *super* attentive to safety procedures for the range - she was on it like I am when at home. We rented a .22 pistol, as well as shot some of my own firearms I brought with me. When we return next year we'll definitely be coming back to Rex's."

"Rex the owner has always been friendly and over time we have not only used the range but spent a good deal of money here. Today we were unfortunate to have his girlfriend over seeing the range and she was rude. We will never go there again. We have never had an issue using the range with any of his other employees.If she cannot be professional and keep her mouth shut she needs another job."
