"The best part of this place is that there is a roof and 4 walls usually. When I moved in this place was a garbage heap and hadn't been cleaned at all. Not only was it not cleaned but there was also appliances out of order. My toilet would not flush and was growing black mold when I moved in. The dryer gave out within the first week and then we didn't have a dryer for 3-4 months. Cabinet doors were missing. Also, there was only 1 person on the maintenance staff. He was great, but he couldn't be everywhere at once obviously so tickets took a while to get through. This place is overpriced for what it is, find somewhere else to live if you can. If you can't, then I hope you have a lot of cleaning supplies and the patience of a saint. Good luck."
"There are lots of words to describe this place, but if I had to settle for one, it would be ‘predatory’. Didn’t interact with the staff too much because the couple of times I did they were rude and/or incompetent. I “took over” someone’s lease, so I was only there for a couple months. Why the parentheses? Well, it’s not taking over someone’s lease in the normal sense. They had the girl pay fees to end her lease and I went through the whole process anyone else would with just signing a new lease, with the exception my lease would be for this girl’s room and for remainder of how long she had left. When you take over a lease through them, they do not check the room or property before you move in AND you become responsible for either reporting or assuming ownership of whatever damage they may have caused. Here’s where I have issues with that: I walked into a mess. By mess I mean they had had a party before peacing out. Tons of empty alcohol bottles, foot prints on the walls(???), a leaking trash can, etc. Additionally, when moving in, you may not be aware of all the amenities or fixtures your apartment has. For example, I guess my room was missing the ceiling light dome /cover… moved in with it not having one and didn't even realize it was supposed to have one until I received a bill for it after moving out. “You should have reported it” well, I would have if I had known I was even supposed to have one. I have other complaints about the overall safety and cleanliness, but to keep things brief: this place is not worth the price."
"If I could give 0 I would, I have had only bad experiences living here. I moved into a roach infested unit without any warning from the management, when I reported this problem they told me they would send terminex the following week. When they never showed up I went back to request they actually send the service and yet they never showed. We took matters into our own hands but the infestation is within the walls unable for us to kill all of them. We also requested maintenance the day we moved in because the lock on our front door was broken, meaning anyone could have busted in with ease. It took 3 months for a guy to show up and fix it, and all he did was put a new screw in when the actual wood was completely split, not fixing the problem. I would never live here again."
"So far, it’s pretty good. Been living here for almost 2 months. It’s not overly the best place to live, but it’ll do. The rooms are very spacious. There are some broken things in my apartment upon arriving, despite me paying for an upgraded unit. However, I lucked out with good roommates and a quiet, peaceful environment. Not much to say yet on how the new management is. Will update soon."
"We moved in the Centennial Village apartments recently and since then we have been facing problems which the property people take weeks to resolve. For an instance - the day we moved in, we got all our apartment trashed, with a lot of saw dust and stove dismantled. After complaining 3 times daily for 10 days, was our stove fixed but the apartment wasn't cleaned. Frustrate, we cleaned the apartment ourselves. Then the belt of our dryer broke because of which we are unable to wash our clothes. It has been more than 3 weeks since the belt has been broken and even after complaining thousands of times, all we hear is- "We have ordered the belt but hasn't arrived yet". I mean seriously? It takes 2 days for anything to arrive on Amazon.... For every problem, if it can be resolved in a day, the property people take at least 2-3 weeks to resolve and these are the problems that literally frustrate you. I am not even talking about the issues that do not actually hinder your day to day living, although they are frustrating too. We lived in another housing for last 2 years which is nearby (10 min. waking) and we never ever faced such problem with them. All the complaints used to get resolved within a day. This has been the WORST living experience and discussing with our friends who happen to live in several other housings nearby, none of them face ANY of such problems and all of them get surprised when they hear our situation. All of these problems have been faced by us within the first month of us moving in and btw our dryer hasn't been fixed yet (when I am writing this review)."
