"I lived there for two years, too tired of moving. The location of the apartment is nice, however, never ended cockroach even they do pest control; Non functional dishwasher for over one year before they replaced it. The dish washer can run but never cleaned your dishes, I complained for a year and had them come over 5 times, always says nothing wrong. Be careful when you renew the lease, over 20% of renting increase was requested by them for lease renew every time, which is really mental draining. With the price they are charging now, I would recommend go find some apartment newer and cleaner. The apartment facing woods are humid and dark in the summer, neighbors smoked weeds very often, the smells always came to my apartment and stay for few days. By the time I moved out, even though I clean the apartment, well, thoroughly washed the two year old carpet and changed some small things for the stove with brand new pieces, they still took away all of my $350 deposit without even mailing me a charge list or with any explanation."
"Overall conditions are improving under current management team being responsive. Raven continues to be most helpful, understanding and accommodating; especially in assisting with challenges induced by technology for this senior citizen."
"This place is garbage. I've lived here for 2 years. All the apartments are 40 years old (even the "updated" ones) all from the 1980's. Maintenance answers calls fast. However, they aren't very skillful in anything. A part of the reason why is because everything is so old it's hard to actually repair anything. Our AC unit broke down just about weekly, it was a pain to deal with, especially those hot nights, very uncomfortable and inconvenient. The pool was never open. The entire first year I lived there, it supposedly didn't pass inspection, and then it did, but they had excuses the entire summer. It never opened. The second year it actually did open for about a month, then the same "safety concerns," and the run-around for the rest of the season. The gym pictures you see online are from the absolute best angles. The gym is tiny, unkept, and outdated like the rest of the complex. The only (and i mean only) good thing about the apartment complex is it's location. Right across from lake johnson and near route 40. Besides that it used to be quiet but now it's more ratchet than ever, loud music, dog poop everywhere, and inconsiderate neighbors. I would not recommend living here. Better off spending a couple hundred more a month and get a way better, newer apartment. Management is a revolving door, so it's hard to even know who to call. Raven (one of the property managers) is the only bright spot of the crew, but who knows if she is even there or how long she will last. I'd stay away and do not recommend this complex in an area where complexes are plentiful."
"I want to say WOW! I registered a complaint with the management about my concerns. In the past three months I have seen tremendous improvements on the property. I have been a resident at the Summit for three (3) years. there have been changes... for the better. Management has improved on the payment portal that is both convenient and quick. Dog owners have been reminded to clean up after their pets and the community is cleaner for it! I don't know what happened but I no longer smell cigarettes and marijuana fumes . The assistant manager Raven has excellent people skills. She identifies with a tenants concerns and finds reasonable solutions. Things have improve and I plan to renew my lease!! "I love the view and the Quiet!!"
"Please do not live here. I moved in for grad school in 2018 because the rent was affordable but every year since not only have they increased our rent substantially, but the new management is flat out terrible. They will not take care of emergency maintenance requests in a timely manner and will blow off residents who bring up concerns. Our upstairs neighbors water heater burst and it has been three weeks since that and the only action that has been taken by them was to repaint one of the three ceilings had significant damage. Even to get them to do that required DAILY phone calls, emails, and follow ups. They will tell you a date when someone is supposed to come but then no one will show up. They seem irritated to have to be dealing with residents, but they’ll pay us to try and lure other chumps into living here. They double charge for trash and pest control above what is mentioned in the legal agreement (lease) that we sign and cannot give an explanation as to why beyond it is a required fee. I have more reasons to not live here but at the risk of turning into a manifesto I will conclude. 0/10 recommend."
