"Anyone leaving higher than 1 star is a paid actor. You will never be in touch with front office. Open 10am-2pm weekdays. Convenient. I have still to this day never received a call back for any messages I’ve left at the front office. Trash compactor has never worked. Recycling and trash can is overflowing constantly; never seen the trash area not completely disgusted. I don’t know where they put the roof top pool but the little one open til 8pm for 3 months this summer was the actual only good thing in this entire complex! I have been paying $300+ a month for water and sewer for over a year. The solution was inspecting the water pump and blaming it on a toilet that continuously ran. Huge mud pit outside my unit from “busted pipes” over 6 months ago. I pay $1900+ for a two bedroom UNRENOVATED apartment. The same apartment building my brother lived in 16 years ago that somehow look the exact same. DO NOT RENT FROM HERE!!! This place should be reported to BBB, Raleigh health officials, and anyone you pass by on the street."
"DO NOT MOVE HERE!!! I have rented at many complexes and this one has by far been the worst. We had to break our lease after 5 months due to the conditions being unlivable. Before moving in, we had problems getting the office to answer and had sent over incorrect lease information. Upon move in, the apartment was filthy and not fully renovated as we were originally promised it would be. The carpets were dirty, there was trash on our balcony, and it appeared that nothing had even been wiped down. Within these few months, the apartment flooded, the breaker box caught fire, there was black mold throughout the entire apartment growing from water damage in the ceiling and walls which they never fully addressed, (they wanted to just paint over the mold) the dryer never worked, there were plumbing problems, and the cockroach problem was out of control. We would submit a maintenance request with details and pictures of what was wrong, they would come by for a few minutes to "assess" the problem, then return over multiple days to try and fix the one request. Due to this lack of coordination and execution from maintenance, we felt a lack of privacy in our own home. We were often having to miss work in order to be home for scheduled maintenance and half the time they would not show up as planned. The property manager's solution was to end the lease if we weren't happy with the condition of the apartment instead of actually fixing all the problems or letting us transfer to a different unit. She often responded with contempt and passive aggression. The City completed an inspection and they found a list of safety violations. The property itself was never kept up. The dog waste stations were always overflowing and no clean bags were refilled for months. Trash was always piled up around the trash bin area creating an awful smell. We were gracious and understanding at first but it got us nowhere so we were forced to find a new living situation. Please save yourself the money, time, and stress."
"I submitted two maintenance requests, one for the black mold on the ceiling of my bathroom and one for my tub, which had a big orange stain around the drain and the “drain” (just a metal ring around the drainage hole for the tub/ no stopper) was corroded and falling apart. They replaced part of the drywall in the ceiling but after removing the ceiling light more mold could be seen on the drywall under the light fixture, they didn’t fix that and instead they just put the light back in to cover the mold up. After that they washed their paint brushes/spackle tools in my bathroom sink and left white paint/spackle splattered all over my mirror. As for the drain problem they literally just spray painted the bottom of the tub, corroded drain and all. I can still take the drain (metal ring) out of the tub to reveal the straight up hole down to the pipes, it’s just white now. The maintenance guys were nice but this obviously is not a fix, as there’s still mold in the ceiling and my corroded-drain is just painted white."
"DO NOT LIVE HERE. We had to end our lease only a few months into living here. The apartment was nothing like the online listings. The apartment was not cleaned prior to our arrival, there was dog/cat hair EVERYWHERE, trash on the balcony, and rotting food in a trashcan in the living room. There are cracks in the walls, glue coming up from the horribly scratched vinyl floorings, and the wood on the balcony is rotted and can be pulled apart with a finger. The bathrooms have severe water damage and mold EVERYWHERE. Our breaker box caught on fire two weeks in. The living room flooded from the floor and ceiling when they power washed the outside of the building. And the city found numerous health and safety violations that required non-stop maintenance on the apartment that made living there absolute hell. The bug problems and lack of transparency were also huge issues during our stay. The maintenance team also doesn't empty and replenish dog station bags or trash, leaving them to overflow and tenants to use things like ziplock bags to throw their waste away. The manager reads these and tends to reply, "were sorry you had that impression...." but if those were remotely genuine she would have shown us respect and transparency before, and during our stay, instead of always replying to our emails with attitude and animosity. The maintenance team was awfully mean at times and never respected our schedule, and the mold issues were never addressed despite multiple complaints. We are good tenants, and we are very tolerant, but this place really showed us how low a property can go. Living here is a scam. Go somewhere else."
