Reviews of Junction Six Forks Apartments
"I have really enjoyed living here. Very quiet, good neighbors, leasing team is great and if there are any issues they fix them quickly! I was really worried about moving in to apartment again, but this has been a great experience!"
"Great place to live! Everything that I need access to is super convenient from my apartment home. Love all that the community offers from the events or food trucks. My favorite parks and grocery stores are only a few minutes away. Such a cozy floor plan for me and my dog. I love going to the doggie park and meeting new friends. What a positive experience I had since I decided to call Junction my new home. Kudos to the staff for always being super helpful!"
"As a long term resident, over the years, I couldn't be happier with my decision to live at Junction Six Forks! The location is fantastic, offering convenience and easy access to everything I need. The floor plan is excellent, providing a comfortable and functional living space. The amenities are top-notch, and the community events, especially the food trucks/community events, add a wonderful touch to the living experience. What truly sets this place apart is the outstanding customer service provided by the staff. Catherine, Shawn, Mike, Jericka, Angela, and Josh have been incredibly helpful and attentive, making living here a delight. The property is always clean, and the neighbors are wonderful, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere. Of course, being in an apartment community, you might expect some noise and activity in common spaces, or a surrounding apartment, but it's part of the package. Similarly, encountering occasional bugs is inevitable in any living space or outside the apartments due to natural occurrence, the office team has always been helpful addressing my concerns. Rates may fluctuate based on the market, but for the quality of life offered here, it's well worth it. I've explored various places in Raleigh, and Junction Six Forks stands out as an exceptional choice. I recommend this place to my friends and family. Reading through the lease and familiarizing oneself with the community rules, whether about parking rules or any general information, is essential. It ensures a smoother experience and avoids misunderstandings. The community policies are clearly outlined in the 47-page lease, and it's crucial not to assume anything. Overall, Junction Six Forks has been a fantastic place to call home. The combination of a great location, attentive staff, and a welcoming community make it a standout choice among the many options in Raleigh."
"Unfortunately, I had to shorten this review for the character limit. 1. The people who worked at the office. They are nice…when you first show interest in moving here, after that they don’t care. They only cared about their social media presence and not about any issue you come to them with…even when your complaint is about someone harassing you on their property. One instance that spoke volumes about the character of the people working at the front desk was when the head office associate allowed her friends (who didn’t even live in the complex) to play extremely loud and inappropriate music at the pool, despite two of their policies being 1) you were allowed to bring up to two guests to the pool each day, and 2) music should be played low so as to not disturb other pool-goers or those who live on the perimeter of the pool. I distinctly remember her coming out to the pool to talk to her friends saying: “Oh yeah, a tenant in their apartment called the front desk and complained, but who cares?” It’s upsetting to know that the front desk doesn’t think that rules apply to their friends. 2. Trash. The complex charges you for both trash and valet trash even when the Valet Trash people regularly neglect picking up despite our bin being outside the door where it’s supposed to be. On top of that, the hallways smelled atrocious much of the time because the Valet Trash people dragged the bags down the hallway leaving behind so much trash and food waste that drew bugs and rodents all the time. 3. Elevators (accessibility). Building 1 DOES NOT have an elevator, despite the website’s false information that you can “enjoy elevator access in each building that will bring you to your apartment.” Technically advertising that there is “elevator access in each building” when that is not true goes against ADA policy for Accessible and Usable Buildings and Facilities. If you plan to move here, make sure you don’t get Building 1 if you want to be on any floor other than the first floor, especially if you are unable to use the stairs. 4. Grills and the firepit. The pool area has a really nice fire pit and a few grills for anyone to use…when the pool is open. The pool is open only in the summer for a limited number of hours. Who uses a firepit in the middle of the day in the heat of July in North Carolina?!?! It’s so unfortunate that the fire pit can’t be used in the prime season for fire pits (fall and winter), because the pool area closes by mid-September when temperatures are still in the 80s even at night. You also can’t use the grills any time after the pool closes and only in the summer because you don’t have access to them after the summer ends. 5. Business center. Printers never had ink or paper. If you’re going to live here, just buy a printer for your apartment. It’s such a waste of time going to the business center with the need to print something only to find out that there is no paper, no ink, or the computers are being treated like a personal office by a creepy tenant that runs his business out of the communal business center. 6. Dog Park. There is poop left everywhere, and the front desk does nothing about it except send empty threats of consequences! 7. Move out. If you live here, BEWARE!! They will charge you for things they were going to replace anyway. They scam you even if you have pictures and do a walkthrough! We constantly told people that if you take away everything I mentioned above, we would recommend this place because the apartment space is great and the maintenance guys are wonderful. There was a lot that we were able to overlook when we lived there because we got a lot of space for less money. But now, I wouldn’t recommend living here. The price is much higher than it was when we lived here, and I wouldn’t pay that amount to not have the website's promised amenities and to deal with a staff that doesn’t care about the safety or satisfaction of their tenants. Just please be warned before signing a lease at Junction Six Forks."
"Super long review but PLEASE READ BEFORE MOVING HERE: Living here was honestly one of the worst experiences I've ever had with an apartment complex. They tack on fees whenever they can, and they are incredibly overpriced for the quality of both the amenities and apartments themselves. I know this is such a "first world problem," but the gym was so small and had little equipment. The only reason I bring it up is because, like I said, rent here is ridiculously high and I would hope to at least get decent amenities I can actually use. The dog park is super small and there's dog feces everywhere because they don't have enough dog waste stations, and they also don't have any in the areas dogs are actually going to the bathroom at, which would fix like 90% of the problem with pet waste. I had so many issues with bugs, appliances breaking, and plumbing. Thankfully, maintenance is awesome and super nice and responsive, and that's genuinely the only reason I'm giving 2 stars. Packages are always getting stolen and, fun fact everyone, the apartment complex has no security cameras. The nail in the coffin for my dislike of this place is when they towed my car without any warning or letting me know, despite my car being registered on the lease and my registration up to date. I was just waiting for my new tags for my car to come in. I literally thought my car was stolen and had filed a police report. The towing company is super sketchy because they didn't report the tow to police like THEY'RE SUPPOSED TO so the police went ahead with the report. Once the front office opened, I let them know my car was stolen and that's when they finally decided to tell me that my car was towed for expired tags at 3 a.m. I asked why I wasn't contacted before now or given a warning, and she was just really rude and said the tow company drives around looking for cars to tow. When I called to cancel the police report, even the officer said that was sketchy. I ended up missing work, paying for an uber to the tow place, and paying $250 to get it out of the lot and the apartment complex refused to reimburse me. Which, fine, I get it if they can't do anything. But it was the utter lack of empathy that made me mad. I was literally crying when I went to the front office and they could've cared less. Since I complained to corporate and made a big fuss about it, they've finally started leaving warnings on cars before towing. This, to me, proves they knew they were in the wrong. I'm glad my awful experience at least helped some people. Just know, this is a PREDATORY TOW COMPANY AND APARTMENT COMPLEX and they will get every cent they can from you. I'm moving out this month and I literally cannot wait to be done with this place. Best of luck to the rest of you, and I genuinely hope you have a better experience than I did."
