"We hired Harvey to stain our cabin and we were pleased with his work and when we hired him and his building contractor to build a deck for our spa. I specifically requested an 9' x 9' deck strong enough to hold a 6-7 person spa, water, and people. We were out of town and he built the deck while we gone without any supervision. He entered our house and set off our alarm for some unknown reason. In addition, he built a 10' x 8' deck which didn't have the side clearance that I wanted. He also built it without double joist running along the length. There were also no supporting blocks or beams underneath to support the spa weight. Along the house wall he used screws to attach the joist to the house. An inspector later told me that those screws can not support that type of weight. I gave him plenty of time to make things right but he has not responded and has no taken any initiative to work with me and my dissatisfaction of his work."
