Hopefully, the staff and the company will work with us to keep the rent at a close to the current rate. We like the community. Maybe we can use a second trash compactor. It will be helpful. "Do NOT rent here…. They are money hungry and overcharge for rent and amenities…. They care NOTHING about the residents other than the money they get from them. Take your business and your family elsewhere. None of the residents stay here more than a year or two because of the massive jumps in rent increases especially if they install a digital “smart lock” on your door…. Never rent from MAA AGAIN!!"

"Pros: layout of unit (3 bedroom) and location of property. Cons: everything else. The trash is piled up every weekend andbmy unit keeps getting mold (which I'm highly allergic to AND I have an infant in the home). Rather than the property trying to determine why I keep getting mold, they just say clean it with bleach. I know that, but there's a reason that mold keeps growing and I've only been here since 7/21/23. I've reported mold twice and it's making me sick when I'm home. I reported several issues upon move-in, had to wait an entire weekend to get a walk through as there was like "substitute" staff all weekend who didn't know where anything was to properly make reports directly after moving in. None of the issues have been corrected including a broken lock on a window and a window that doesn't stay open. The property manager completed the walk through and supposedly documented all the issues on a tablet, I signed, and she signed. Nothing. I've complained over and over again about the person above me making excessive noise and the management team has done NOTHING. It's so bad it wakes my baby up out of her sleep. It's not regular, everyday noise. It's constant, excessive bumping as if there was a wild herd of animals living above me. Also, someone ordered groceries from Lowe's and some of the bags ate still outside the unit from almost, if not, a month ago. I hate it here with everything inside of me. It's literally the worst place I've ever lived. I have been at MAA Arringdon, MAA Providence, and now here, so historically, I have not had any major issues until I moved here except living at MAA Providence, my air went out 4 times from April 2023-June 2023 and my baby was a newborn at the time. Maintenance didn't want to cut into the wall to replace something electrical that would have supposedly fixed the issue for good because I had a baby. I should have left MAA then and would have if I had known I was moving to hell. At this point, I'm seeking legal advice."

"I don't even know where to begin...there are too many residents for one trash compactor/recycling bin. Every week there is trash piled up. It's unsightly, to say the least. The cable/internet is included in the "MAA Connect" package. But the internet goes out at least twice a day so I have to reset the router, and it's slow as molasses. The cable, I don't even watch. You have to pay all the rent/water at once. They don't take partial payments. I prefer to pay half per paycheck. They still get all their money by the first. The water does not stay hot long, so time your shower. My fridge is still making a crazy noise from June, and it's September after numerous request. It smells of poop outside because other residents will not pick up after their pets, and Brierdale has no way of holding them accountable. The one young lady at the office, needs an attitude adjustment, or another job if she hates hers so much. This place cost over $1700 a month for a two-bedroom! That is too much money to have so many issues. The pool/fitness center closed at one point. Why!? We pay for it. But I digress. The property is not sprayed for pests as often as it should be. They are all in the breezeway, living their best life. MAA Brierdale gets two stars for location, you are in the heart of Brier Creek, near a lot of things. And for the overall appearance. People pass by and it looks nice. But trust that's just to get you here. Move anywhere else."
