Reviews of Aven Apartments
"After seeing the first few reviews I didn't need to see anything else. I know for a fact that I'm not doing ANY further business with this property."
"Upon move in, all went well. At the time Tiana was very new, and was so sweet and professional, never had an issue. Jordan was also very prompt and professional at move in. I felt comfortable making this place our new home. However, it was very short lived(06/23-07/23)due to a domestic issue I was having with my daughters father. Jordan had him trespassed from the apartment complex but that didn’t stop him from riding through or even knocking on my door. One day he came and started to harass me so I called the police to handle the situation. I spoke with Jordan about the issue and asked her was there anything she could do to help me. She looked at me and said “the only option is for you to go” I was confused thinking to myself “where am I’m gonna go when I literally just moved here”. She told me that me and my two year old daughter had to leave and that she will be filing for eviction in court. She explained that we can leave before the court date or after the court date. I just thought that was a bit extreme because I’m the victim in this situation and was treated as if I were causing issues. I tried pleading with her, paying my rent and etc but it didn’t work. We ended up leaving before the court date as that was an option, I didn’t want eviction on my record. I did inform her on what day I’d be leaving, it was a Friday 07/07/23. I left the apartment completely spotless, I’m sure they didn’t clean for the next tenant. A couple of weeks later, I received an invoice of a total of $3,000. There was a charge for termination of lease, water, trash and damage to the door that the trespasser did. I didn’t mind paying the damage, trash or water but terminated lease fee??? I didn’t terminate the lease, nor did I ask her to. I lived there less than 30 days, 30 days!!! I contacted Jordan via email about the issue, and again not sympathetic or professional when it came to this matter. I asked her several times for someone I could speak to over her, and she told me to basically Google it or find it myself. I still have NOT settled that debt because I feel as though it’s NOT right or fair that she did this to me. I still would like to speak to someone about this matter, if possible."
"Beware of this community, it appears to be peaceful and quiet but walls are thin, neighbors are loud and there seems to be a lot of domestic violence going on in surrounding units. A plagued neighbor, there is no real consequences for those who indulge in such behaviors of harassment, you just have to suffer for trying to protect your own safety. It will be your own responsibility to contact local authorities per property management for issues with any non civil tenants, whether the lease is violated or not. Just do yourself a favor and pay the higher rent elsewhere."
"I’m a current resident at Aven Apartments. My experience here in my 1st year has been amazing. The staff here, every one from management, maintenance and the ground people do an extraordinary job at making sure the property is clean and well maintained. When I have a issue I put in a maintenance request through the easy to use portal and with in a few hours as long as it’s not an emergency they are there. If it is an emergency they are there within the hour. Hands down best renter experience I have ever had. Aven apartment definitely gets all 5 star. Well maintained buildings. Maintenance men are very friendly and work diligently to up keep the buildings. Great place to live!"
"The was my first time moving away from my home town as a single mother of two. The thought of moving was extremely stressful but Jordan and Tiana made the entire process easy and stressless. From the tour of the complex, not just access to one place but multiple vacancies giving me options from comfortability. The communication was a major thing for me throughout the process they stayed in communication as to what was needed and where I stood within the application process. Within a day I was approved and setting a move in day. When it came to signing day going over the lease explaining the importance of certain things like keeping property clean, making sure you communicate any maintance within a timely manner --- Osiris is one of the maintance technicians who is quick with responding to any request, friendly and always putting in hard work to ensure our property stays well maintained and safe. The property itself is beautiful, very green scenery, nice playground, pool and lounge area is very peaceful. The location is very seclusive, quick access to everything. The questions you should be ask yourself is not ?"
