"About a year and three quarters ago, I brought my truck to Foley’s Garage. I asked them to let me know exactly what needed to be fixed and they stated the rotors, brakes and some other repairs including my battery. Over $1,600 dollars in repairs. Less than a year later, my battery dies and I ask them about it. They did fix it but I was not happy with the replacement, but understood that it had to be done with that manufacturer. They had to replace it with an inferior product, but that is who the warranty was with. About seven weeks ago, I took my truck to get the NYS inspection and safety check. It didn’t pass because the e brake is not connected. I texted Foley’s and was told that because the warranty was up, there was nothing they can do and they were on vacation until middle of July and to call back then. I have texted several times to Tracy, wife of the owner, and received no response. I finally called this morning and the owner called me back stating that he doesn’t do business with people who finger point and the mechanic I took my truck to for the inspection doesn’t know what they are talking about. He also stated that it has been a year and three quarters when they saw my truck and the e brake at that point was “rusty crusty” and it could have been then when it disconnected. If it was then, then why not fix it? Not only did they ignore my texts to them, but they also refuse to look and see what is wrong with my truck that they last touched. DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE TO THIS MECHANIC!"
