"I was owed a refund and after calling for WEEKS and leaving messages to check in no one ever called me back, emailed, nothing. I called them out on scamming people out of their money and now no one wants to help or care to reach out. This is the worst managed business. I moved out of an apartment over 2 years ago, they sent me a bill dated 2023 and said it was sent out soon after move out in 2021. Moving into the apartment our dishwasher was moldy and stained and wasn’t taken care of for 9 months, I kept calling the office and nothing was ever done. I had to bring it to the attention of home office to have it fixed which they found the office staff never opened a work order, the apartments are poorly managed. I asked to just it taken out of the apartment as a health concern and she did not believe me until she saw a picture of it and quickly apologized. Someone threw up on the steps outside of my door and I called maintenance multiple times to clean it, they never did. Maintenance would show up unannounced and not even knock, and leave the front door wide open when we weren’t home for anyone to just walk into our house. We were over charged and the property manager at the time would avoid speaking to me and was rude with me when I kept asking her to fix it. Over 2 years of moving out we received a bill for hundred of dollars for what we ‘owe’; unpaid rent, utilities, and not providing a move out notice submitted on time. Which I had the paperwork to prove we paid, submitted everything and it was not correctly noted in our file. We had to provide documents that the office staff did not enter correctly. After bringing attention MULTIPLE times the property manager at the time did not do HER job they still were not willing to help. I still had to provide additional bills and documents to show we had everything paid, which resulted in using getting over charged and getting a refund. They take weeks to respond which is VERY unprofessional. DO NOT RENT ANY OF THE APARTMENTS CORRELATED. Keep every document and bill!"

"It is completely dark where I live. Aurora Apts. Resident safety is not a company concern at this time- AST Property Manger. Told me this would I suggested fixing the light poles and replacing the bad light fixtures in the patio area. I’ve had my car broken into twice so far. I’m putting this out there. Do not move into any ginkgo properties. Resident safety means nothing out here"

"They deserve zero stars! Communication is something this company does not grasp. I have had mold issues in my sons room for over a month and have sent countless emails and calls but nothing is returned. My ac is always going out and each time they will recharge it but within a week it is back to blowing warm air. Everything breaks here, currently waiting on carpet to be replaced from mold, my wall to be cleaned/ replaced from a leak, my dishwasher to be repaired, and my ac to be repaired. At this point I’m ready to contact the health dept, the news or place the money in escrow just to get any solution. This entire company is a joke and they need to do some re-evaluation on who they have in charge. Woodcreek farm resident. Pics of the mold in my sons room and what they call clean in the second."

"This looks like a nice place to live, but don’t. If I could give this place 0 stars I would. The on site maintenance team and property manager are kind, but this complex is managed out of NC & the regional office doesn’t trust their employees to do their jobs. Since I moved in I lived in a water damaged, mold & fungus infested unit. Nothing was done to properly remediate the issues & I was nothing but patient, until they wanted to rip apart drywall inside the unit, “tape it off,” and continue to deprive us of full use of our unit. Living here has been a health & safety risk. I would not recommend Woodcreek Apartment Homes to anyone or any properties managed by Ginkgo Residential. They will not treat your home/space with respect."
