Greenhaven Apartments

"TERRIBLE PLACE TO LIVE. NOBODY CARES. I'VE SEEN A RENTAL MANAGER QUIT SINCE NOV 2023...AND STILL NO ONE HAS BEEN HERE TO COLLECT RENT OR FIX A LEAKY ROOF AND IT IS NOT JAN 2024. ROOF HAS BEEN THIS WAY SINCE I MOVED IN 2 YEARS AGO....SAD"

"This place doesn't fix anything but will go up on your rent even if you don't have heat/ AC for months. You can call the Millennia corporate yet still nothing gets fixed. They noticed if you have pets yet will not fix/ update anything. I had a unit where me and my son were without A/C before, during, and after the summer. The AC and heating is connected so when it started getting cold there was no heat either. So of course I had to buy some heaters as well. They only provided one AC unit that could not cool off the entire house since it was two floors. I had to buy a second AC unit for upstairs after paying my rent. My electric bill went up from $64 a month to $222. During this time they still raise my rent without fixing the heat or the AC. The excuse was that nobody wanted to work with the Millennia company for this apartment. Also I had a leak in my closet as well as my bathroom one area even had mold. Again nobody had the roof or AC fixed or made any adjustments to accommodate me. Put in a maintenance request for a hole in my wall to be fixed yet no one came out to fix it. A pond moving out of my apartment there was never a maintenance request to fix the hole in the wall. So I was charged for that hole and things I left in the apartment. After dealing with greenhaven apartments I do not recommend anybody to stay or deal with the company Millennia. I stayed here 5 years too long every year I hope for change yet nothing. I finally moved into my new house since I had struggled to save money and endure living at greenhaven. If you absolutely have no other place to stay let greenhaven apartments be your last option. It's a great location yet everything is old and they will try to bill you for things falling apart that should have been replaced before you move in. Just make sure to have receipts for everything and only communicate through email not phone. They say there is a waiting list up to 2 years long yet people are constantly moving out due to not fixing any wear and tear on the apartment. It's just really unlivable and uncomfortable because you know that things will never be fixed and updated. The apartment was a stepping stone yet they did nothing to improve or help their tenants. So if you need a stepping stone this is not the place and again make this your last place on earth. I know times are hard but staying at greenhaven would be even harder. So find a better place to live."

"Lived here for 7 years the plumbing sucks and the bed bugs are worst. The manager is a bully who is very unprofessional! Low income housing yet your rent will vary month to month when your employed. Wish the original owner was still available he made sure the property stayed in top shape."
