"For the past TWO to THREE MONTHS I have been calling at least once a week to get these guys to come back out. They came out in October and did a fantastic job then when I paid them $750 to clean my chimney and install a new vent system..since then Two times I have set up a date for them to come and they haven’t shown either time. The first was inclement weather, the second no reason but neither time did I receive a call for a reschedule or an explanation. Their voicemail says they will get back to you within 24 hours… they have called me back ONCE and didn’t even bother to leave a VM. I attempted to call them from a different telephone number and lo and behold they picked up. I once thought they were a genuine company who cared for their customer but now I feel as though they don’t care at all. HIGHLY disappointed and never thought I’d have to say that about them with how good they did the first time they came to my house. SMDH"

"These guys have cleaned my chimney many times over a ten year period and they've always been outstanding. They show up when they say they will, do an excellent job, and charge a fair price. The other chimney sweeps in the area are good too, but Appalachian is the best."

"Dont bother - confirmed an appointment and then at the end of the day called back and cancelled said they were booked until the ned of November."

"Had a $1,500 repair done to our chimney. We needed to have one flue pipe extended to stop smoke entering into our basement fireplace. Well, this is the first chance to use 10/17/2022 All is good now. We also had them clean our flues which we were satisfied with. They had to cut the top of our chimney flue to extend the pipe."

"Worst customer service experience I've had in a long time. I called and set up an appointment for 11/7 at 9am. At the end of the call, I asked about pricing. I mistakenly thought the last time they had cleaned my chimney/free standing stove, the price was $90, so I asked if it would be the same price. The guy informed me the price had never been that low in the 17 years the business has been around. He then tells me it will be $175. I asked if he knew if that price was competitive with others or not. He said he didn't know and didn't care because that's what they needed to have their price at because of insurance and other costs of business. Then he says, "let's just cancel the service and you can call around to see if you can get a better price and you can call back if you want to set something up again." I said how about we keep this appointment set, I'll call around and then, if I find someone else, I'll call back and cancel. Then he says they're booked on 11/7 and I should take my business elsewhere and hangs up on me. Dumbfounded..."
