"I needed to find a cozy home for my mom and am very satisfied with Amaze. It’s close to everything but also tucked away. It feels very safe, the amenities are great, the apartment layout is very functional, and it is accommodating to my mom’s needs with large doorways, a walk in shower, and elevators. We worked with Aiden who made every step of leasing easy breezy!"
"Had the most amazing experience touring this complex. Both Kailyn and Aidan were extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the property! These two made this an easy decision. With their help during the application process it was a breeze! AMAZING customer service!!"
"The apartment space and design is decent value. However the amenities are lacking and worst of all the walls are very thin. Expect train noise frequently, at all hours. In addition, neighbors can be heard on all sides, especially above. Not an ideal situation if you value rest. In terms of management, assistance is scarce. When we reached out to cancel our lease, we waited weeks on end to get a response. When communication happened it was unsatisfactory. Particularly with an employee named Aiden. He often promised to do things but would never follow through, that is if you were lucky enough for him answer his phone or reply to an email. On the other hand Kailyn went above and beyond and did her best given the circumstance. We had to break our lease due unforeseen circumstances . We found multiple credible people to take over our lease however, due to the lack of communication from the leasing office we lost many applicants. I.g they would want to move in, email the leasing office for an approval application and never get a response. This is extremely frustrating and unprofessional. We finally had an applicant successfully take over our lease. After getting approved to take over the lease at the middle of the month she was not granted access to the apartment until the last minute. This left her questioning if she was going to have a roof over her head due to. “management review of the property”. Would not recommend living here."
"I moved out of the apartments about a month ago. Reviewing the overall experience: Pros: - The apartment was very nice inside, almost too nice for what I wanted! - Maintenance Requests were extremely fast and professional - General amenities (mail, gym, pool, patio areas) were all beautiful and made it great for hosting guests - I can't speak for other apartments, but my apartment had great noise insulation -- I didn't hear neighbors nor construction going on across the street Cons: - Guest parking availability is terrible, and with a new apartment building opening soon next door, I'd presume that situation will get even worse. - Hours for co-working area are restricted to normal working hours - Pool is not available for use year-round - I got the vibe that upper management, who I didn't really interact with, was somewhat disconnected with people who work there day-to-day. Things that were less straightforward to deal with, like the fire alarm problem noted in other reviews, took way longer to receive updates and fixes on than they should have. Neutral/Notes: - For those moving from outside of Charlotte, I don't feel these apartments are in NoDa. The area is safe in my opinion, but if you don't want to cross the train tracks, you'll need to walk through less safe areas to get to NoDa. - There are tons of dogs staying here! I love that, but some people don't, so please be aware. - I got the vibe that management cares a lot about the rules (aka goes by the book). This can be great for things like maintenance and keeping areas quiet, but not so great if you have interest in hanging out in a balcony area after 7 pm (since they lock doors automatically) Overall, I had a good experience. There are many nice apartment buildings in Charlotte, and this option is one of them. I wouldn't recommend Amaze over another good option that is significantly cheaper, but it is a nice place and I don't regret my choice to stay there when I did."
"From the process of getting approved to moving in to getting acclimated with the different amenities and services they provide, my experience has been nothing but great so far. Aidan from the leasing office has been incredibly easy to work with and very personable, there to answer any questions we may have. Amaze is in a great spot, walkable distance to a rail station and a 5 minute drive to the main street of NoDa. The apartment itself was very clean and in good shape upon arrival, with all the appliances and locks in good working order."
