"I've been a resident at Somerset Apartment Homes for over a year now, and the recent experiences I've had with the property have left me deeply dissatisfied. Over the past two weeks, my apartment has suffered three power outages, a problem that appears to be exclusive to my unit. The inconvenience of these outages is exacerbated by the lack of support and empathy from the management team. The first time I encountered a power outage outside of office hours, I attempted to contact the office for emergency maintenance assistance, only to find that there was no emergency maintenance number provided. This lack of a proper protocol for urgent situations left me feeling stranded and helpless, with no immediate recourse to address the recurring issue. Upon visiting the office to discuss the persistent power problems, I was met with a surprising lack of professionalism from the woman working there. Despite expressing my concerns about the power being out for the third time, she refused to make eye contact, displaying an alarming level of indifference to my situation. This dismissive attitude was both unprofessional and disheartening, especially given the potential risks to my baby's well-being. Paying over $1200 a month to live in an apartment should guarantee a basic level of service, including reliable utilities. The recurring power outages are not only inconvenient but also pose a serious risk, particularly with a baby in the household. Mentioning the potential loss of breastmilk and exposing my child to cold temperatures due to faulty electricity in the neighborhood only heightened the urgency of the matter. While I appreciate the assistance of the maintenance man who eventually came to address the issue and showed me how to fix it, it is disconcerting that such problems persist. Weekly power outages are unacceptable and indicate a fundamental issue with the electrical systems in the neighborhood. It's worth noting that when I first moved here in July of 2022, Justin was the one bright spot in the office. He was genuinely helpful and seemed to care about the residents. However, his efforts alone are not enough to offset the overall negative experience. Somerset Apartment Homes needs to address these recurring issues promptly to provide a satisfactory living environment for its residents."
"I found this place online and when I came to take a look at the place in person I loved it. Very clean comfortable looking home. Justin is a very nice guy, he did my paper work and got me in no problem. Both Justin and Jessica were nice people in the office, go see them if you are looking for a nice home to move into."

"Fast approval process. Justin was very helpful. We found this place while living in-between hotels and could not find anything that met our expectation or budget. Our 1-bedroom was decent for the price that we were getting. Initially we wanted a studio and after going back and forth, we decided on a bigger unit instead. We needed to move in immediately and Justin was so quick to move things around and got us in within a few days of the application. No gym and no pool but there is a laundry facility on-site. Found a few pest issues and notified management, it was taken care of immediately."
"My roommate and I are relocating from Sierra Vista, AZ, to Charlotte, NC. We've been planning this transition for months! It has been such a struggle finding a nice place that would be affordable for us. We were rejected three separate times by three different apartment complexes, and the reason being was because our credit isn't very good. There has been mountains we've had to climb just to straighten out old delinquencies that were already paid but still showing up on the credit check. The difference between Somerset Apartments, and all the other complexes we applied for, is that they worked with us! They were patient, they responded to our calls and emails in a timely manner, which was such a big deal for us because we're 2,000 miles away. I cannot say the same thing about most of the other apartment complexes we applied to before Somerset. Justin Edwards, Leasing Agent for Somerset, has gone above and beyond for my roommate and I! He has always responded to our emails, if not the same day, the very next morning. He even gave suggestions and provided us with numbers and websites we could visit to dispute some false information that was showing up on my credit report. His patience, his personableness, and just the fact that he has been so present for us, especially being so far away, has meant the world to my roommate and I. We move into our new apartment at Somerset on August 20th, and I cannot wait to get there and start this new chapter in my life! Thank you, Somerset, and a special thank you to Justin Edwards.
