Reviews of LoSo Walk
"The townhomes themselves are nice, we love our space! But parking is a nightmare with seemingly little being done to fix it, communication from management is poor, and it seems that few neighbors feel the need to pick up after their dogs."
"Our living experience inside the home was very pleasant. The layout worked perfectly for us – master and our toddlers room on the top floor; living, cooking and dining on the middle floor; and game room/office on the bottom floor. We moved in when the apartment was just built so it had up-to-date fixtures. The inside was great. The community experience was not the best. Aside from the community’s proximity to eatery and bars there aren’t any real amenities. In developing the community the developers completely neglected to consider parking capacity. Each townhome has 3 bedrooms but is only provided with one dedicated parking spot (your garage). As a result tenants and visitors resort to parking on the landscape, and very close to other vehicles often resulting in damaged property. There are careless dog owners that let their dogs poop in our yard (and often didn’t pick it up), young adults playing beer pong in the street and shirtless guys casually walking around as if they were on a beach resort. The management experience was also less than ideal. They are very hard to reach, seldom available on the property, and are not very helpful when they can be reached. We moved out in mid-September and provided our forwarding address in Germany, therefore our security deposit would need to be returned via ACH (the same method which it was paid to them) or mailed to us. Their feedback was ACH is not an option and that they’d mail it to Germany with no problem. A month later I’m told that it cannot be mailed to be because their company doesn’t ship to overseas addresses, which is a very poor excuse – it costs $25 to mail an envelope internationally. It’s been three months since and still no reasonable solution, so I will take them to court when I return home to resolve it. Overall I would not recommend LoSo walk to families and mature professional adults and couples."
"I enjoyed living at Loso Walk. It is a great location. Easy to access the south end area, lightrail and 77 for easy travel. My biggest problem with living there was the parking. I was fortunate enough to have the one car garage and driveway and always had a spot. However, driving through the community was difficult due to cars parked everywhere and sticking out. It was also a safety hazard as a fire truck and other emergency vehicles would have a hard time getting in there. There were multiple times I could not leave the community due to cars blocking the roadway. Overall, the home was brand new and very nice. We did not have any issues with things breaking or not working correctly in the home. The property management company was always kind and responsive to issues."
"The townhomes are nice and clean. The area is close to the highway and also a lot of great entertainment options like restaurants, bars, gyms, breweries, the theater, and parks. The staff is fast responding when It comes to maintenance issues. The one problem I have with the location is the parking situation. Every townhouse has a 1 car garage and some have a small driveway that can maybe fit 1 car. This means, in a large complex with many 3 resident townhomes there is far more cars than there is parking. The few parking spots are always taken and people are forced to park in their yards, or in the narrow drives around the complex making it difficult to traverse the complex. Often I have to wait, back up, or pull back into my driveway to let another car pass. It becomes so narrow at times I worry I'm going to clip a parked care with my side mirrors. When they designed this complex they did not have adequate parking space on their minds."
"Great townhomes in a great location. Parking is a real issue, there are not enough parking spaces and hence cars park everywhere they can, on the grass, on the curbs, by the mailboxes, two wide etc It makes the neighborhood look completely unkempt and trashy. The images are midday midweek. After hours is a lot worse."
