Evoke Living at Arrowood

"These are the most unprofessional apartments in Charlotte. Eugenia in the office is the worst, she has messed up a lot of the residents income and has an attitude all times. She is very sneaky! She got fired and now rehired after having over 200 complaints but is now back in office. She mess with peoples lively hood in the worst way. Please do not move here it’s too many issues in the office that cooperate nor the office is trying to resolve. Bad for business and shame on evoke living"

"There is so much to say. Eugenia doesn’t need to be working with the public at all. She is very unprofessional, a liar, and this company is going to lose good residents because of her. I don’t trust her at all. The leasing lady, Drea, was awesome. But if I could talk to someone in upper management I would. Eugenia needs to be in a cubicle away from public. She is unorganized, loses paperwork, and helps the people who she wants to help. Do not rent from Evoke living at Arrowood. Go somewhere else."

"Scheduled a tour online and received multiple confirmations of my appointment. Showed up to no one around, damage on every door and door frame, called to find out where the tour guide was only to find that they, "don't actually have anything to show." I explained that the website system must not be working to which they replied, "so sorry." I asked if there were options and they just told me to leave."

"I won't be renewing my lease. Too much goes on over here. Can't believe these are new apartments and crime has already taken its turn. It's GHETTO ALREADY. Cars are broken into constantly, houses are broken into constantly. Mine was literally unlocked by someone who works here after hours. I sent in an email no response, so I had to call. Once call was returned I asked if they have gotten my email, the said yes. They were suppose to view the cameras to see who it was that entered into the alley way of our corridor which they said it'll take 48 hours to access the cameras. 3 weeks go by still nothing. They never reached back out. No one has the extra key to my apartment but me. My inside camera caught it but they claim it was not them. (FUNNY) Within the last month, a shooting happened right in our premises. it turned into being a homicide. They never sent out an alert as they knew exactly of the incident when it happened. Still they do not mention it or send out letters on the doors as they would if you was pass due on the rent. There's a lot of suspicious activities that goes on over here and they do nothing about it. Personally, I do feel unsafe. And they do nothing to ensure the safety of their tenants; hence, not coming back to discuss with me them entering into my home unannounced, undocumented and after hours. A maintenance man was fired for doing the same exact thing stealing from tenants. What's believed by me and other tenants is that the universal key was copied, because a lot of us has said that their door was unlocked after vividly remembering locking it. So many of the tenants are here on CPNs, there were no extensive back ground checks.. The apartment is income restricted. The two bedrooms are more than the 3 Bedrooms There's nothing Lux about it. It was poorly built. The tiles were horribly placed and is currently lifting. The shower head and lower faucet are unhinging off the wall. It's too early to be facing these troubles this early on. Most of The tenants in the handicap apartments are not handicapped and still have to pay full pricing. They literally gave those apartments away just so they can fill them and with that being said we have so many unhappy tenants. EDIT: 9/17/23 the office is always closed. When knocking on the door they ignore you and will have you sitting out there. They tell you to call so boom, I called standing right there by the door and they still ignored my phone calls. I can literally hear the phone ringing while standing outside. I then send an email.. moments later, NOTHING! I don't get this work staff or crew. They do nothing all day and then expect you to chase them for the things they need to take care of. Wheew I can't wait til my lease is up. You can never reach them for anything."

"Went to the office nobody was there, i waited, nobody showed up so I decided to go to my car and leave, when I was in my car, a Woman with blue car parked beside me, when I Started to back up , she opened her door and looked at me like if it was my fault she didn't see my car moving. I was leaving when I realized SHE IS the one who Works in the office, So I went back, she took a money orden from a man who was waiting and closed the door , when she came out the door , she past us like if nobody was there and ignored us, she proceeds to go back to her car , she definitely saw us, oh but she did 'noticed' another lady who she asked if she could help her, so I was just done, but I asked her do you work here? And she said yes, but she had 10 mints left from her lunch and they didn't have any units and said something about I "almost" hit her car. All her and her actitud was so rude, even when she speaked to us. I saw her difference in treating her "kind" of people and us, has hispanic. Worst experience! Definitely racist! If thats how they treat people who just want information, I dont know how they treat people who live there."
