"Horrible is the best way to describe my experience. I already read the previous reviews so I was not expecting good customer service but I didn't expect my apartment to smell like a kennel on move-in day. No updates on carpet cleaning. I've been begging for a key to my storage room. No update, no key, no care or concern. I wish I could cancel my lease. I think the people at Landon strive for horrible customer service. The employees are disgruntled and taking it out on the residents. As of 12/19/2023."

"I don't know how many managers we've had here in the past 2.5 years I've lived here. Currently, we're without one - again. I understand they fired one manager for putting hands on a resident. I also understand one of the staff called a resident by a homophobic slur. The staff don't understand the concept of de-escalating. They get loud, I get loud, they get louder, next thing I know, I'm in a shouting match with them. I'm not that guy, and I hate that I let them get to me like that. Then there's the water situation. Outdoor leaks everywhere. On cold mornings, the entire font entrance is frozen over, right next to the bus stop. Do they care about the kids? Apparently, not so much. They are supposedly fixing it this week, but given their track record, it will take at least 2 more work orders and 3 months to fix the issue. They had no problem renovating the office a few years back. Could they have spent that money of something that would actually benefit the community? Of course not! That doesn't help line the pockets of fat cat corporate management. I don't know if it's lack of experience or complete demoralization from lack of corporate support, but the staff here is completely ineffective. I was told they laid off 4 out of 7 maintenance techs, and they were only doing "emergency" work orders. Regardless, I placed a work order in December, and it still hasn't been fixed. They've closed 2 work orders saying the work was complete - wrong. I will say, the garbage situation has gotten better, but it's still far from being fixed. One suggestion that won't cost them a dime: If you see a piece of trash on the property, pick it up! Every staff member should be doing this. My building should be 100% trash free, as there is maintenance tech who lives above me (unless he's one of the layoffs). The corporate office obviously doesn't care. I've been leaving messages, emails, for over a year. I expect they'll respond to this post saying "We're sorry for your experience, please contact the office..." This doesn't work. I need a member for the corporate management team to contact me directly. I doubt they ever will. Do better."

"No one’s managing this apartment complex. My apartment is infested with roaches. No one ever answers the phone in the office. Almost NEVER. I had to go into the office and beg for my apartment to be sprayed for roaches. Despite my request guess what? nobody shows up! Had to call the office back to back 20 times then someone finally answers. Ask why nobody showed up and get response like “we’ll contact them to see what happened “. Nothing ever comes out of this lil investigation. The office makes you think someone will come out to exterminate but nobody shows up. You can see baby roaches on the outside patio. You call the office back they pretend they don’t know why the service tech didn’t come out and get pushed off to the next week and the cycle keeps repeating itself. I’m seriously thinking about breaking my lease I refuse to live with a roach infested unit/building."

"DO NOT SPEND YOUR HARD EARNING MONEY HERE. 1.They currently do not have a property manager. They only have an assistant property manger, Maria, and she barely knows what she is doing. The staff has little to no experience with property management , property assistance and general customer service. I moved to here in May due to a job opportunity and needed a place to stay within a 2 week period. This place got me in but that soon turned into a nightmare. The apartments including the renovated ones are falling apart. My apartment has no heat and it is freezing cold outside. You pay a 70 dollar community fee just for trash to be everywhere. The corporate office is worse, they never answer and will send you straight to voicemail. I can go on and on about my horrible experience but a review would not even be enough. Just please look somewhere else."

"I have lived in Landon for not even a full week and have already ran into so many issues I’m ready to get a lawyer. This place is a scam and whatever you do, do not rent from here as you will be saving yourself. I came to tour in March of 2022 and was shown a renovated apartment. I have signed a lease for a renovated apartment and they would not show me the apartment before moving in and now I am stuck in a contract for a year with a half-renovated apartment. The office staff is rude and arrogant when you come in to speak with them it feels like you are a bourdon. The only time I can get ahold of them on the phone is if I blow up their phones with 20+ calls in a row. I just got out of a meeting with the property manger (Yesenia) to speak about how we can fix these issues and she was absolutely no help and very degrading within the conversation. She said she understood our complaints and what we were dealing with but was not willing to do anything to help. I signed a lease for vinyl flooring in the living room and came in just to find carpet in the living room. Property manger said they will not replace the carpet what so ever and they will never offer a rent discount as “they do not do that per corporate policy”. Now we are forced to get in touch with corporate to try to make something work. We have also been placed in an apartment that is clearly not ready for move in. There are 4 shelves missing throughout the home, no storage door on the balcony, 4 rusty nails sticking out of the carpet, and so many other issues I could talk about for days. Office staff has told us maintenance will get around to fixing those things when they have time so now my roommate and I are at a stand still with moving in and can not do anything further until they feel like coming to fix these things that should have been fixed before they let someone move in. Yesenia said maintenance and leasing team walk through apartments before people move in to check everything but I do not believe anyone checked this apartment first. I have so many issues between scamming, poor communication, and arrogant management I would never wish this place upon my worst enemy."
