"So excited to move in to this complex! Madison has been so kind, patient and helpful throughout our application process with a quick response time to questions! She was enthusiastic and knowledgeable during our tour and brought such great energy! The grounds are well kept, it is a quiet complex and offers great amenities!"

"I broke my lease early because honestly this is not the place to be if you are not older and have money to waste. The rent is pretty insane pricing for “being on the lake” which is really just a bonfire pit on some water but it’s not worth the price I had an awful experience at the pool almost every time going. One week it’s loud speakers , with everyone drinking (which is not allowed but nothing was done) but i had a resident harass me and take pictures of me because i wore a cheeky bathing suit. The woman reported me to the office and management apologized but nothing actually happened to the lady. But i also think it’s wrong for management to try and control what we wear to the pool when there’s plenty of old men who sit at the pool and watch the girls all day long NO MATTER WHAT THEY WEAR. Then we get to my upstairs neighbor, i have had plenty of upstairs neighbors who could be loud at times but this man would make his dogs go CRAZY in the morning , middle of the day , and right before bed. Having a 1 year old this was awful and even though i complained and showed video proof of him being loud, nothing was done. Some of the residents here are very entitled and live however they want to because it seems like they use this place as their retirement home. The staff in the office is very frustrating, it’s a different story no matter who you talk to. One person says this but you call back and a different person says this. Involving money, regulations, rules, etc. They are not on the same page at all. Now after taking my whole security deposit, they wanna send a debt collector for over $200 dollars for carpet. Didn’t even give me the option to come pay it to them directly, now the debt collectors are having major issues and when i tried contacting management to just come bring them the money directly THEY REFUSED. I’ve never dealt with stuff like this in my life and i’ve been renting for years…"

"We've lived here for a few months now and haven't had any problems with the management, staff or the apartment. Madison, Mallory and Megan are always super nice, professional and welcoming whenever we go to or call the office. So, shout out to those young ladies. I also welcome Ray! She's new and super awesome too!The amenities are great. The fitness center is clean and organized. The maintenance people are prompt, courteous and professional. Shout out to them as well."

"The entire office team was nothing short of amazing when I leased an apt. They were caring and stayed later to ensure i was able to get into the apt the next day !!!!!! They went above and beyond for us and truly cared !!! we feel like family here !!! Any question or request I have had has been immediately answered and resolved !!!!! I can't thank them enough for being so caring and professional!!! If you want to live where people care about you and the apartments are beautiful, THIS is the place to be !!!! I'm so happy to be a part of this community!!!!!! Thank you everyone at Village at Lake Wylie !!!"

"When you move in, they charge a pet deposit and they charge a pet fee every month and then when you move out they expect you to pay for carpets that weren’t even Damage that bad, And after keeping your full deposit start with. We left the apartment clean. We left the apartment the way it was if not cleaner then when we moved in while we lived there, we had issues with frozen pipes and water coming out of the electrical sockets. appliances are old they came to do work from the issue with the water cut sheet rock left the hole in the ceiling for a long period of time and left sheet rock dust on all of my stuff in the bedroom, moved the stuff in the bedroom and never moved the back much less told us that they were going to leave it this way. The people in the front office are very nice and maintenance team is very nice but other than that especially if you have pets I would not recommend and I haven’t even discussed the noise levels and people live above you that the apartment complex will do nothing about to make them quiet down to each his own, my experience was quite less than palatable"
