Reviews of Town Square Apartments
"Lived here for two years. Was fine the first 6 months until the noble company took over. And they had a different land lady every other month. It was hard to get a response and took weeks to months to get a applience fixed as in our stove (twice) and our washer. They wouldnt tell you when they were coming, when they did come, or what the plan of action was after that. We had to contact them multiple times to get any answers. This led them to replacing our stove while both of us were at work letting and locking our small dog outside for hours on a busy street. Luckily a neighbor found her and kept her until we got home. After telling them that we demanded 24 hours notice when ever they were to enter the appartment hence forth, they still multiple times they came in whenever without notice. A few months before moving they got a new landylady named Crystal. I hope shes still there as she was super good at comunication, understanding and didnt take any crap from anyone. She was the only redeaming quality of this company."
"I have lived here for 2 yrs. Now my ceiling in the hall is falling in and leaking from upstairs. It has been 2 months now. The leak is fixed but no new drywall yet. Manager was not available to talk to. Also the toilet upstairs is sinking into the floor upstairs. Manager claims to know nothing about it. Nothing has been done since person has been here to look at it. Lots of apartments have one or two large dogs that go out without leashes. Fleas are all over the grounds. One tenant has 2 Boston Terriers and never scoops their poop. Yesterday they raised my rent by $55. Per month! Need I say more? I could go on and on. Had to add I hired my own pest guy to dismantle 3 wasp nets outside my door, and take care of a spider and her sac of offspring outside my patio door. No screens on any Windows. You won't like all the Palmetto bugs either, 1 to 2 per day."
"I have lived here for 2 years and never had an issue. Then a new company took over and I have had nothing but issues. I cant talk to anyone. They have posted hours and the person is never there. They don't pick up the phone and after hours you get forwarded to the parent company but they say they cant help you have to talk with the local landlord. I can deal with a small over priced unit. but telling me I haven't paid rent when I have proof I have and then dodging my calls/visits is impossible to deal with. DO NOT THINK ABOUT LIVING HERE."
"This place was absolutely horrible. I wish I could rate them a 0. I can't imagine how anyone lives here. To start off, if you're planning on moving here, don't. It will cost you WAY more money and stress than you need. We had viewed this property several times and saw 2 different apartments, both of which looked great. We went through the whole process and set up our move in date. On move in day, I go to inspect the unit we were moving in to and I can not imagine how ANYONE thought that apartment was worthy of moving into. I wouldn't even want my worst enemy living there. My main concern and horror was the fact the kitchen, laundry room, guest bed and bathroom were INFESTED with cockroaches. INFESTED! If I could post pictures I would. I couldn't stand underneath the lights or the ceiling fan for fear one would fall on me. I opened the back door in the laundry room and was chasaed away by several that were hiding out underneath the door crack. The "sprayer" had been by to "spray" a few days prior. The property manager gave us some excuse saying he disturbed a nest. Those roaches were not "disturbed" in the least little bit. They were having a party and inviting all the friends around. I don't know about roach species but I know there were several different kinds and you can't just get rid of them with a snap of a finger. After the horror of the roaches, I didn't really want to look around any more but I did anyways. Such a mistake. I should have just said my goodbyes then. There was a several inch gap from where the floor started to where the front door started whenever you closed the door. That's probably where all those roaches came in from. No telling what else may have been able to get in through that gap. The desk was disgusting and sorely in need of a pressure washing and paint job. I don't even think they cleaned the apartment after the tenants moved out. There was a thick layer of dust over everything, the filters weren't changed, burn marks all in the carpet. The only thing that looked ok in that place was the master bedroom. Needless to say, I did not move my stuff in that day, wasted a whole lot of money and gained a whole ton of stress trying to find a new place within a day. The excuse I got from the manager was that she didn't have the budget to fix all of those things. If that was the case, I would have preferred for her to tell me instead of me finding out the day I am to move, with family in town to help and furniture on the way. This was the worst experience of my life and it could have been worse if I hadn't been smart enough to look around before moving in."
"Don't rent here! Went to visit the place to check it out, hoping to find a nice place to stay that was pet friendly. I looked at a one bedroom and a two bedroom. The two bedroom was roomy but had a bad dusty smell. It looked like the place was poorly taken care of and incredibly out of date. They wanted almost 700 dollars for that which is unthinkable. It was dirty and the balcony was badly in need of paint. It's criminal to ask for that amount with those conditions. Don't even get me started on the carpet. The one bed room was even worse in my opinion. There was dog poop on the doorstep. Not even kidding. We pretty much got out of there as quick as we could."
