"Had brand new rotors and brake calipers put on. I had all th parts necessary for the job. I asked them to save the brake calipers that were coming off so I can save them for something else. They said no problem… I also asked them to screw in the bolts in the calipers with some copper antiseize so the bolt won’t rust as quickly. Also said no problem. By the next day I get a call saying everything is done. I go in and said great work but where are the old brake calipers. He said in the car trunk. I looked and of course they are not there and nowhere to be found. I also noticed that they didn’t apply any copper grease to the bolts. The work they actually did was decent if you factor in not listening to any of the instructions I gave.But clearly the price is whatever they felt was fair. Since I had all the parts the only thing i should be paying for is their labor. Which I believe around $130/hour. So going by this they are saying it takes them about 4 hours to put on new rotors and brakes. I wouldn’t be so annoyed if they would have just saved my old brakes and listened to what I asked them to do. Guess it’s a learning process I suppose."
