"My transmission went out on my 2015 Dodge Caravan RT while I was there for an oil change. Upon inspecting my van they wanted to charge me almost $12,000 for a new transmission. When I asked why so much I was told because it was new and that dealers don't do rebuild transmissions. I then told the service employee that my previous oil change was done at the E. Stroudsburg Dodge dealership service department and was told that I may need a new transmission soon because he smelled burnt transmission fluid and quoted me at $5,600 for a new transmission. Your service department employee then contradicted himself by saying that it was because it was a rebuild transmission when he just finish telling me that dealers don't do rebuild transmission. At this point your employee was at a lost for words and couldn't explain why the huge price difference for a new transmission. So I felt that I was being ripped-off. I asked for my van back and had to tow it back home. I was considering purchasing a similar van in your lot but because of this experience I will never visit your dealership again."
