"I’ve been brining my trucks here for many years. I was referred to them by one of the sales people at the dealership. They are really the best places to go to save some money. They do the same exact work as the Land Rover dealership but at a fraction of the price. The staff are super professional, courtesy, an extremely knowledgeable. They treat u like family. The work is excellent an they do it in a timely manner. I highly recommend this shop"
"Amazing experience. They took me right away and had me back on the road!! Great customer service. I will definitely be back again for all my Rover needs"
"They don’t really care about their long term customers. I’ve been getting my car serviced here for 3 years — small jobs like oil changes and big jobs like installing new suspension. They started out nice but over time they have become very dismissive and aggressive. - The work has gone downhill. - They are a sloppy and they constantly make mistakes, resulting in tons of wasted time, money and energy. - The prices are exorbitant and borderline abusive The last straw was when I took my car in to get new hubs installed and rims repaired. There were NO FAULT LIGHTS when I took the car in. After they did the work, I came to pick up the car. To my dismay, there was a TPSM FAULT LIGHT ON. I explained to them that I brought the car with no lights in, and now there is a light? After some arguing they eventually said that they would fix it. But it wasn’t easy. They wanted me to pay for a problem that they created! This is after I’d driven from the Bronx to Brooklyn. I explained to them that every time I have to leave the car there I have to spend $70 on Uber going each way. Still, when I drove it back to the shop they told me they had to leave it, so I did. They called me a few days later to tell me it was fixed. I picked it up and drove it 8 miles and sure enough the light was back on. Keep in mind, every time I go here it costs me $70!!! Awful mistake. Oh also, the car pulls to the left a bit now. When I brought it in, it was perfectly centered. They say it wasn’t their fault. Then whose fault is it? Give me a break. The light is still on, they said they would call me back, they never called me back. I don’t want to keep chasing them. The work is rushed and sloppy and not worth your time, energy and money. Not to mention the prices are exorbitant. Getting my rims painted and polished was $1500. I later found out most great shops like Whitey’s will do it for $650. I’ve decided that developing a long term relationship with this mechanic is a hassle and a headache and I will sadly no longer be returning. If you want to develop a personal relationship with a mechanic you can trust — go somewhere else."
"Once again British Auto Works made the case for being the Tri State areas right choice . I called for an appointment and was instructed to bring the car in the same day. Arrived and serviced within 1.5 hrs. Keep up the great work!"
"I was very disappointed in the service I received. I was charged an outrageous amount $186 for an Autologic QUICK Test. Which was basically a quick diagnostic. That you can get free at Autozone!!!! Omg With that said I asked several times to speak with a mechanic to weight my options, but the secretary (Jen) insisted she has been doing this type of work for years. I can respect that, but why would she insist that I could drive my car with the Engine light on and nothing would happen to my Discovery Sport in the long run. Yes, I had alot of questions if the bill is over $4,300.00. I hate to think she was discriminating or be judgemental in thinking I couldn't afford to pay. She was very short in explaining anything. I was told to leave my car and come back after she emailed me the bill, with a CC Fee of $154. ...(really) a credit card fee without an explanation. She could have given me the option to pay CASH geeeez. British Auto has outstanding reviews so I made a point to rush over to received excellent service also....WRONG! Dissatisfied Customer MS. LOPEZ"
