"Had my 1980 240 transported here last year from California and had the great luck to meet Alex at a concert at the Olive Free Library. We struck up a conversation about MBZ’s, and of course he took a quick glance at the car as I left, and remarkably he could hear that my 240 needed a Valve Adjustment!! Recently Alex went over the entire car and both Lucy and I are amazed how much better it is running now! We just drove to Connecticut (Round trip about 200 miles) and the entire trip was wonderfully comfortable due to the knowledgeable adjustments made by Alex. The vacuum system was repaired and my wife is pleased that we can now lock the doors!! Also my miles per Gallon has improved significantly since Alex performed his magic!! (now 38.6 MPG!)The car always has been a joy to drive and own but now its performance and general “feel” after Alex at High Point made his knowledgeable adjustments makes this car the most enjoyable I have ever owned — by far the Best Work this car has ever received!!"
