"Awesome locally owned shop. Bryan (shop manager) has helped me countless times with repairs on my aging mountain bike and road bike. Perfect repair every time & Bryan is definitely one of the best mechanics I’ve come across & a super nice guy as well. Epic has a ton of quality bikes and components that are fairly priced. I’ve gotten new bibs & night riding lights that are awesome. Pumped to have them in the neighborhood They’re shop mountain & gravel rides on Monday evening @6pm are super fun too."

"Rented an MTB from Steve. Bike was well maintained. Had a small issue after a particular ride and it was fixed immediately. He gave me great information on local Bent Creek trails and others in the area. Treated me like he was my local bike shop. I highly recommend and will use again if I'm back in the area."
"The only one place in Asheville where gravel bikes was available for rent. The workman of Carolina Fatz is a friendly dude. He prepared the bikes for the trip, pumped up the tires, tell us about good locations for the ride. We rode four days by the roads and trails of Pisgah Forest National Park. The our bikes Jamis Renegade never let us down on a trip. Good bikes for the money. The only negative point is that the bike is not available in size XL. I had to take a size smaller bike. I hope next time big bikes will be available at Carolina Fatz. Good luck and thanks for service!"
"I rented a mountain bike here while visiting and they were very friendly and fairly priced. I crashed and broke my collar bone, and a few parts on the bike and they were in no way condescending or rude when repairing. I expected a large bill for such a fantastic bike, but to my surprise it wasn't. I sat, had a few drinks, and chatted with the staff while they worked. I can't recommend this shop enough."
