Colonial House Apartments

"This apartment complex in uninhabitable. There is mold growing out of the air vents and we have made multiple complaints, and nothing has been done. When maintenance or repairs are scheduled, we are only given a 30-minute notice instead of a 24-hr. notice like Rhonda had stated. Maintenance comes back to "clean" it before an inspector comes to hide the mold and then 2 days later the mold will return, and the process starts all over again. These conditions have caused my family and I to be in a constant state of sickness and the only time we feel better is when we are not in our apartment. We have made complaints to cooperate and no one gets back to us even though we call every single day to express our concerns. I do not recommend leasing an apartment here. Below is attached pictures of just some the mold that is not being taken care of."

"If I could give you a 0 star I would. This company refuses to give me my deposit back and wants to charge me for dumping potting soil on the ground. Let me be clear this company is charging me for dumping dirt on dirt. The walls were painted with water base paint and if you rub you wash the walls the paint comes off. The kitchen cabinet drawers were put together with carpenters glue and broke repeatedly and the maintenance man if that’s what you call him just glued it back again. Then the toilet downstairs would overflow with nothing in the toilet just flushing the toilet and it overflowed . The apartment building beside mine pipes froze and my apartment building water was cut off for 5 days. Yes I said 5 days I was without water and no accommodation was given to me!!!! Please do not rent from this company. I was told I had to pay for dumping dirt on dirt and pay to repaint the walls when the company is obligated to paint between tenets. There was no holes in the walls, I cleaned the carpet, mopped the floor, painted the walls, and was never late on my payments !!! I was there for 5 years and never had a late payment no even ONE!!!! And thus is how I am rewarded charged $500 to repaint the walls with water based paint and well what can you do with dirt on dirt !!!! Do not Rent from this company."

Ronda, the property manager, has been just wonderful with helping me move in and has been kind and generous with everything I need! Ken with maintenance has also been terrific! He's been available with any problem that arises without delay! I'm happy to be a part of Colonial House!!"

"I’ve only been living here about 6 months and it’s amazing! Rhonda was so helpful while I was applying and she stays on top of any issues or anything you need help with. Maintenance is so fast and efficient it’s crazy! Also being able to use Flex for rent is so convenient. I’m not moving anytime soon."
