"Horrible experience. My apartment was infested with roaches and they did nothing about it. My children got bit my unknown bugs. The community trash can was constantly full. And when I tried to terminate my lease they messaged me months later saying I never terminated it and I owe over 10 grand. It’s your typical cash grabber with horrible management"

"DO NOT LIVE HERE. DO NOT LIVE HERE. DO. NOT. LIVE. HERE. I have had the unfortunate pleasure of living at Riverstone since May 2019. I should've known how this was gonna go when they were scrambling to finish my apartment the night before I moved in. Management has changed about 6 times and from I've been told they can't even afford to live in this place. When I moved in my rent was $900 they're now trying to squeeze 3k a month out of this. I live on the bottom floor and the door won't shut from the terrible building plans. If you do move here I hope you like your neighbors because your walls are as thin as crepe paper and you're gonna hear EVERYTHING. Mold EVERYWHERE. Bugs on EVERYTHING. You will have ants in the summer. And no matter how many times you request the bare minimum you're not getting that. I'm partially relieved I'm being priced out since I'm terrified one or these creaks is gonna be and the ceiling (which you can see where they put the nails in the rafters) is going to collapse from the cracks in the wall. I've had my car hit in this parking lot so much it's ruined and at least I didn't get bumpers ripped off like some of my previous neighbors. And don't forget no weight restrictions so you can be terrified when a pack of collies come running off leash at your small dogs think they enforce that? Nope I've seen more dog fights from irresponsible owners here. Also I'm regards to mold again, make sure you buy some water filters because there's pink mold on everything the water touches you also get some fun black algae build up on sinks. However these amenities though. Except the pool it's been closed 3 months of the summer every year since we lived here but if you do go don't work a regular 9-5 job because it's closed for the day before you can get home through the traffic. The gym was great until parents started dropping kids off like it was day care. The dog park can't be bad at least? Nope every single time my dogs went they got fleas one even got worms! Warned the front office you think they cared? Absolutely not and don't let your dog get diarrhea on the property or else you're gonna get that fun $200 fine. Unless you live on the outskirts of the property where there everyone leaves and dump their poop. All and all the location is great and it's what kept me here so long since being close to work but people who have to actually work in Asheville can't afford to live in Asheville anymore due the "software" that they use to adjust their rent with. Believe every negative review and be warned the delete them off google to make them look better."

"Been here two years now and this place has severely gone down hill. The week after someone came and shot a bunch of cars up here the staff found it imperative to go police the bike racks instead of taking measures to protect its residents. So they went and cut my two bike chains and put both of my bikes up for public donation because the tires were hanging over the rack...luckily I found my bikes before someone took them but now both my bikes are sitting exactly where they were with no locks on them. This is why you have raised my rent by nearly $800 in two years? So we can have people shooting at our vehicles while you cut my bike locks?! What an absolute joke. Let me also reiterate. We tried getting out of our lease and I gave 57 days notice. They said I needed 60 days, even though nc state law is 30, then i was forced to sign a lease because we could not afford the $2000 fee they wanted to charge us for 3 DAYS RENT! This place will only become more dangerous as they keep pricing people out while mistreating their belongings. Terrible company. But what else should we really expect in 2023..."

"I’ve lived here for over a year and we really like it here. It’s great they have no restrictions on dog size and breeds. There are many dogs here as a result but it’s very nice because it’s mandatory that you pick up the poop. The pool is nice in summer and there’s a fire pit too that’s cool. The gym is okay. It could use some new equipment but it’s good for what the average person needs. Occasionally there are disruptive neighbors but it’s not bad. I’ve always felt safe here and we’ve never had a problem with anyone or anything. They could really use a playground here. They have a small dog park but there’s no park for kids. Maintenance is great too. Very quick response time and always very helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. I would recommend it to people with dogs."
