"It was my first time visiting Asheville in roughly a year since having to move in 2020 and decided to stop for a quick visit at Asheville Horror on Merrimon Ave. before leaving town (I am a huge horror fanatic). Let’s just say it was a VERY worthwhile visit. The individual working when I walked in, Shannon, was incredibly nice and extremely helpful. They knew so much about the store, where certain things were located, and even offered their own recommendations for the vast amount of horror comics that were being sold (great selection y’all have, by the way!). Having a worker like Shannon who knows the store like the back of their hand, knows their horror comics, and is overall just a sweet, genuine person really gives me enough justification to want to go back (I live 5 hours away). Dare I say they deserve some sort of recognition or praise because they were just that AWESOME! I STRONGLY recommend anyone who loves horror or has an interest in it to check out this place. They have a wide selection of stuff for just about anyone! I will most definitely be back when I can swing another trip."

"Huge space, tons of comics, funko pops, action figures and more. The layout is very well done and feels very open and uncluttered compared to most comic shops. The young man working there, Jack, was very nice and friendly and super knowledgeable about comics and helped me pick out some stuff I would enjoy. Great store, definitely coming back the next time I’m in Asheville."

"Walked here from Indigo Hotel (not sure if I'd recommend it, as most of it is uphill and through a seedy neighborhood where kids heckled us near the skate park), but once we got here the staff member was so friendly and courteous that we totally forgot about our walk. He even gave us suggestions on where to eat and visit downtown. They had a huge selection of Funko Pops and action figures, as well as a large variety of comics. Almost bought a Stan Lee figure, but had to hold myself back. Picked up some graphic novels and a mystery pack for a friend back home. Really enjoyed our experience here."

"My wife and I came into your store today and the manager was very friendly. He talked to us as if he knew us personally and was very respectful. I thought his interest in the fan content ,such as Star Wars and figures, coupled with his level of interaction to be extremely welcoming. Good job and God bless you guys. Keep up the good work.
