"The office staff is horrible and very rude Kim to be exact. Would not recommend anyone.Everyone associated with this place is extremely RUDE for no apparent reason. Is it because y’all are low income housing and think WE as black people cant find anywhere else. Not mention the apartments aren’t all that for the attitude the staff has."
"Fridge pieces are broken haven’t been replaced.. AC has been out nearly two weeks, haven’t heard anything about getting a new unit. 80+ degrees inside our apartment.. Terrible communication from from the office, can never get an answer on the phone. As a formal employee and resident I’m highly disappointed."
"The staff at Bethabara Pointe always exceeded our expectations. I lived here for 7 years now. The maintenance staff was always quick to respond to any issues we had and the front office ladies took great care of us and made us feel at home. Thanks Nicole, Sandy and Kim!!!!"
"I would not recommend moving here AT ALL. The staff in office (Office manager and assistant manager) are rude and unprofessional. If I could give this place a zero I would they are lazy. The office coordinator and maintenance is worth 4-5 stars but unfortunately due to the front office its not worth it. There were break-ins while staying here and my packages that had been left at my door had been stolen on more than one occasion. The fact that they locked the gate on one side on the weekends at one point like people are animals and it was one way in or out was horrible especially if there at any point was an emergency did not make sense. I had the choice of renewing my lease (which I didn't) and stay somewhere where cost wise worked for me but emotionally and mentally I was miserable or moving to a place that cost more and gave me a peace of mind. I chose to move. Due to covid they were late with the renewal process and I had been telling people in office I was not renewing when I would email I was told I had to speak to Sandy or Michelle who wasn't in the office during the pandemic they would switch or not show. I was told that if I wanted the place repainted I would have to pay out of pocket bc they only paint after three years which is stupid because the paint was so cheap. Now I did leave an alarm system in there which I would say would be a bonus for the person who would move in because they would need it but I'm sure they removed it because they don't care about their residents they just care about the money. So needless to say due to them prolonging the process they charged me for another month rent and property damage which I will be requesting to see as I have documentation. Mind you I was not on section 8 I worked full time from home which was a hassle because there would be people driving through the parking lot playing loud music. Don't get me started on bugs like spiders, and ants, along with the fact there was mice in there. Not to mention when my autistic son was getting bullied and I went to the office about it they told me they can't do anything about it and they can't tell parents how to raise their children. This place is a DUMP! Move in at your own risk"
"They (Michelle & Sandy) are EXTREMELY nice, until you actually move in. The first year we dealt with maintenance coming unannounced and not even leaving a reason or date (on paper they leave when they have entered the apartment) When we spoke to Sandy in the office she pretty much said she couldn’t do anything unless we had actually dates and the papers. But said she would talk to them. Heat wasn’t not working first winter & it was making a horrible sound. We put in a work order & maintenance came in and said “nah it’s suppose to sound like that and emergency heat is kicking on because of the temp outside..” Which was 50 degrees. Our bill was $200 every month until we decided to just leave it off because it wasn’t heating up. So we had to use space heaters. (Not much better) My roommate & I both work 9-5 jobs Monday-Friday. Obviously we can’t get our packages because you can only get them certain times of the day. I explained the situation and Michelle said “she can’t make an exception, to send my sister, cousin somebody, they just can’t give it to me right then.” Even tho they were both sitting down not in any meetings or anything. If something is mine & you are not giving me something I have paid for it is an issue. They also are terrible with communication. We’ve set up two meetings since our moving in & they rescheduled without telling us. Lots of things wrong with management here. I would love for things to change. Communication to be better & when I come for what is mine you don’t withhold it. I’ll be seeking out who is higher than Michelle because that is unacceptable. They are unpleasant as well. Never smile or anything."
