Reviews of Underdown Ball & Associates LLC
"Our family partnered with Underdown Ball to both sell our home and purchase our new home in 2021. The experience was seamless on both ends. This firm works tirelessly to ensure every detail is attended to. They strive to respect your family's schedule while efficiently arranging showings. We would unequivocally recommend Eris and Robert Ball as a team for any real estate need."
"We are happy to have worked with Eris in purchasing our first home. She took good care of us, and even though we were in a different state and time zone she make it easy to navigate the search and the closing. Totally recommending her if you are looking for a home in the Elkin and surrounding areas."
"Eris and Robert Ball have become our realtors by earning our trust and providing a warm, professional environment to do business. They were able to sell my Grandmother's farm and my Mother's house at a good price. They proved the necessity of a Realtor to act as a go-between for buyer and seller. I would not hesitate to give them a strong recommendation. Sincerely, Richard Mayberry"
"I used Underdown Ball & Associates to first manage the rental of my property there in the Elkin area and later to sell the same property. As a former real estate broker in Charlotte, I know what professionalism looks like and I can honestly say that both Bob and Eris are the utmost when it comes to knowledge and professionalism. I utilized their brokerage for several years and I not only appreciated their real estate expertise but also the friendship which we developed through the years. They were always friendly and helpful in all areas of our transactions and I would welcome the privilege of using them again should the opportunity ever arise. I would highly recommend them for any real estate need. They are great people!"
"Eris and Robert Ball are two of the dirtiest and most crooked Real estate agents I have ever had to deal with! I feel that Everyone that might have any dealings with them should know the truth, and what kind of business they run! My wife and I fell in love with a beautiful farm in the quaint community of Dobson. The farm had been on the market for a long time due to the high amount of the asking price my wife and I never bothered to formally go and view the property. Till one day I noticed that they had broken the farm into tracks and it was then more affordable, so the day that they posted the farm broken into tracks we went to view the farm and loved and decided to make an offer. They kept refusing our offer due to a 45 foot industrial easement that they wanted to put right down the middle of the part that we wanted to buy ( which would be our pasture and our drive way) even though there was an entrance to the other property from another paved road, as well as a dirt road that we have shared on the edge of the property that we offered to buy. Why would I want to buy a farm for horses and have a easement in the middle and not be able to use my own pasture, made no sense to me what so ever! Until I found out about the truth after the purchase of our farm! But I’ll get back to that in a minute! So, after they accepted our offer it was just a waiting game, so we had some things checked out and had some inspections done as well as some estimates for updating the very dated house. I work for the power company, and the right of way coordinator at the company that I work for said that he had just been up at that house looking to clear some trees that were too close to the lines. He mentioned a dead tree that was about 20 feet from the house. That concerned me because of the storms and wind that was coming in the next day or so and so I went by to check it out. I found the dead tree had already lost all the branches on one side and all the weight of the tree was leaning toward the house. I called my real estate agent as well as emailing Eris Ball to notify them of my concern and to let them know I could have the power company go ahead and take down the tree that day or the next. Eris contacted my agent and said that (COWBOY) would be coming by to take down the tree the next day. By the way this COWBOY fella was not what you would expect, when someone goes by that kind of nick name you would expect they would carry a title like that for a reason. Cowboys are hard working men that like to get things done and get them done right, this was definitely not this man’s character!!! 3 days later cowboy came to take the tree down, but we were totally unaware of all the other things that he intended to take down and take with him while he was there. I came by after work to see if the tree was down and this is what I found. He took apart the chain-link fence so that he could fell the tree, and he did take down the tree but totally tore up the fence, he ran over it with a skidder. I asked to have the tree left there between the driveways so that I could cut it up for firewood. But instead he took a logging skidder and pushed it through the beautiful split-rail fence and through the pasture tearing up everything in his path that he could. He pushed the tree in 2 pieces 2 different times running over the split-rail fence in a different place every time, he ended up running over the fence a total of 8 times. He left tree debris everywhere it looked like a bomb went off inside the tree. I was devastated I called my agent and had him meet me over there so that he could see all that was done, and he called Eris and Robert and had them meet him the very next day. They said that they would have him come clean up the mess and have him fix the fence. At this time, I thought they were talking about both fences, I was wrong! He came back and pushed all the brush up in a pile with a front-end loader, miring up the yard everywhere, and told me that I could burn it after I moved in. Eris said Take it or leave it! find me on Facebook & read the rest!"
