"Food is fantastic, reasonable prices, extremely generous portions, and the staff are very kind. Great local place to grab a bite"
"Finally a good wing place! Best wings I’ve ever had. Big and crispy always. And the sauces…. Wow. Fat daddy sauce is my fav"
"The service was great, and the guy at the front counter was very nice. He was friendly, and even brought our food out to our car! I don't know his name but he was awesome! However, the food was absolutely disgusting. I threw all of it away, which means I also threw my money right in the trash. And I hate wasting food, so for it to be completely inedible to me, says a lot!!! I ordered a Cajun chicken wrap which was so messy, it completely fell apart as soon as I grabbed it. It also had ZERO taste. None whatsoever. And the onion rings are thrown in a bag with soooo much grease, it soaked right through the bag, picture attached. I couldn't eat any of it. What a waste of food and money. So disappointed!!"
"Back in the heady days of 2007—2014 my trivia super team Woo Hoo A-Go-Go bestrode the Elbo Room Trivia Nights Live Thursday night contest as a colossus, capturing literal thousands of dollars in tournament prize money (and sticking it to long time Trivia Nights Live supervillain Street Academy at the last minute one glorious night in particular). And every trivia night our team always ordered a couple dozen wings and a few pitchers to wash em down. The gang fell apart as our teammates had babies and or moved away. And then the Elbo Room shut its doors. I despaired a while until discovering that they had opened a takeout spot in a much more upscale neighborhood. Tonight I put in both of my classic orders: a dozen Buffalo Hot, a dozen Garlic Parm, two sides blue cheese. Takeout never tastes the same no matter how short the drive; everything is always a bit more damp and slightly less crispy than on a plate fresh out the fryer. I suppose one could order a dine-in order at one of the few tables in there, but the setup's clearly intended for takeout and delivery. Maybe next time. The sauces are exactly as I remember. Elbo's hot has a ketchup base with a strong Red Hot and cayenne pepper presence. Garlic Parm features both minced & powdered garlic butter and grated shaker parmesan cheese. Even after a ten minute car ride in a cardboard clamshell in a plastic bag the wings were still crisp. As I bit in I could almost smell the Yuengling draft and heard General James reading a head scratcher triple bonus."
"Fast service hot and filling food. The presentation was amazing and the portions could easily fill two people. Can’t wait to try more items on the menu!"
