"I recently purchased a used lawn tractor from Southland, really easy and friendly folks to work with! Unfortunately, they kinda sold me a bum steer - the mower ran for less than six weeks before the PTO clutch packed up, and they had basically zero interest in working with me on it. They wanted $600+ to fix the $1900 lawn tractor they sold me six weeks prior. I understand it's used equipment, but it kinda feels like that's why I bought from a dealer instead of off of Marketplace or something, I was expecting to have some kind of support. They didn't even care to offer me a discount or anything like that on the shop rate. I personally wouldn't recommend Southland Equipment after that, they're really friendly and happy to sell you something, but once they've got your cash, they have no interest in you at all."
