The Village at Meadowview

"My roommate and I have lived here all three years of our college careers, so I have a lot to say about this complex. They do not respect you, do not care or value your time, or care about you as a resident. They enter your apartment for the most random reasons CONSTANTLY. Having a dog, it is incredibly inconvenient that I have to crate her for 8 hours when they decide to make one of these impromptu visits (she is not used to that) because they never tell you what specific time they will be coming. When my roommate and I renewed our lease, we decided not to have our apartment renovated. The team here obviously did not care because they had us vacate the apartment for an entire week and remove all our belongings from the kitchen and bathrooms (our kitchen still has some drawers unpainted, so it looks stupid). Now, a month later, they are requiring us to completely move our living room furniture out to redo the floors. 1. We are moving out in July so why can't they do it then 2. It is ridiculous to expect us to move out all of our furniture during the middle of the week. When I called to try to see if they could wait until our lease is up when they have to finish renovations anyway, they said sorry but to deal with it and were very rude when I had my parent call since they dismissed me. I simply do not understand why they are constantly having to enter the apartment for various reasons, and it is ridiculous that we have had to uproot our daily routine to move out twice now at their convenience. They consistently change package pickup times, and you only have from 3-5 during the week to get your packages. Most people have jobs and classes during this time. If you go outside the window, they won’t give them to you. Find a place cheaper and with better management, because the rent is outrageous for what you get. (Except the maintenance team. We love you guys)."

"I wish I could give them -5 stars. When my roommates and I renewed our lease, we had the option to choose whether or not we wanted our apartment to be renovated. My roommates and I all said no as we were fine with the apartment the way that it was. However, we got notified that our apartment would be renovated and we were forced out of the apartment for days between 8am to 6pm. There were days during our renovation that we would come home to nothing having been done. Furthermore, the team used our vacuum to suck up nails and screws, which obviously broke my vacuum. When I brought this concern up to management, they refused to acknowledge responsibility nor reimburse me for my broken vacuum. Now they are not emailing me back. Additionally, the vacuum was in a closet that the renovation team did not have any business being in. They said that I must have broken it myself. They said that the renovation team had their own vacuum. If this were true, why was mine filled with nails and screws? The renovation crew either used my vacuum or didn’t clean up after themselves and left nails and screws in our carpet (which is shaggy so we can’t see if there is something in there). I would not recommend living here. The rent is ridiculously expensive (900+per person), they don’t respect your belongings, the apartments are filled with cracks in the walls and ceilings, and they only allow you to pick up packages during a certain time frame, which has always been during my classes. If you are looking at the other reviews, beware that meadowview has residents leave good reviews for prizes (check their insta). There are better places in Boone that are cheaper and in a better location."

"These 5 stars are for the most amazing and professional experience we had with Treasure in the front office. After several attempts to rectify a situation, she was the only one who went above and beyond to listen, empathize and then help guide us to options and a solution. Cannot say enough about the customer service she provides for the residents of Village of Meadowview."

"This is my third year living at the Village of Meadowview and I couldn’t be more happier! The views are amazing with spacious apartments. From the office staff to maintenance everyone is so willing to help and ensure you are comfortable in your new home which is so nice as a college student and with your first apartment. They even have the best amenities with free printing, study area, and gym available 24/7. Couldn’t recommend a better place !!"

"I have lived here the last two years and I love it!! The apartments are spacious and many come updated with handwork flooring and stainless steel appliances. The maintenance is amazing and they arrive quickly once a request is submitted. The clubhouse workers are amazing and very helpful! Of course the best part is the view of Boone and over looking the city."
